After 16 years, we needed a new furnace. We’ve always used Windy City for servicing. We weren’t disappointed when it was time to install a new furnace. No other companies were considered. Thank you, WC for your professionalism. We love our new furnace and humidifier and can’t thank you enough for installing in time for the winter.

I needed assitance witb my AC and looked for a company that was located close to my house. I found Windy City Mechanical. I called and Bianca wa very helpful. She informed me they were busy but would put me on the ASAP list. I was greatful they were able to come out foe same day service. The tech was professional and knowledgeable.

Our a/c went out during the hottest day of the summer we knew we were on borrowed time with it so we decided to replace the a/c and the furnace at the same time. Called several places and they wouldn’t come out for several days. We were recommended to Windy City by our neighbor and Ken came out right away. He worked with us and was extremely helpful. The mechanics installed the very next day and worked very hard in all the heat. The whole experience was pleasant and we know we paid a very fair price. Would recommend to anyone.

We first used Windy City Mechanical in 2006 for a annual furnace cleaning. Always have received great customer service. Fast forward to 2019 Tom and co-worker came out to give us a free estimate to replace our furnace and air conditioning units, we sign the contract and they started work the next day. They showed up on time, removed and disposed of the old units and left no trash behind. Our air ducts were cleaned also. Great pricing and efficient service and as always great customer service. We had a new furnace installed in October last year & this Spring decided to add central air.

Both times Ken came out to access the situation, taking our concerns into consideration & explaining all in detail, making us feel very comfortable with both projects.

Both times Adam was the lead tech, this time accompanied by Victor. Adam is punctual which everyone appreciates. He knows his stuff & goes out of his way to listen & explain everything. Very professional from start to finish - would not hesitate to recommend Windy City Mechanical to anyone.

I bought my new AC & Furnace from Windy City Mechanical a couple years ago and am very happy them! I worked directly with Tom Walden on what I needed to buy since this was all new to me. I was skeptical of the price and being 'oversold' on something on which I was unfamiliar. I shopped around and ended up buying from Windy City. Tom was not pushy at all and was very honest. He clearly explained all my options and what would best suit my needs for my home. He gave me a great deal and explained the financing options. I have maintenance on the equipment twice a year before summer for the AC and before winter for the furnace. Ken is my usual technician. He is friendly, professional and answers any questions when I have them. They schedule my maintenance at times that are convenient for me, confirm the appointment the day before, and call me the day of to say they are on their way. I have had nothing but fantastic experiences with Windy City Mechanical so far and would highly recommend them to family and friends and in fact, I already have!
I can't imagine anyone giving them a bad review, it seems impossible since they really understand customer service! Highly recommended!

I would like to add to this review now in Dec 2019, 2 years after my last review. As I have had such good experience with Windy City Mechanical, that I ended up giving them repeat business. When my furnace technician came to do my annual cleaning, he noticed my hot water heater was making a noise. I knew it was old and probably needed to be replaced soon. Ken explained what was wrong with my old hot water heater and I knew it was time to replace it. He gave me an estimate on a replacement cost. I bid out the costs elsewhere and their cost was in range. I scheduled the replacement and Jamie in the office helped me with scheduling and payment options. 2 technicians arrived on time and installed my new hot water heater. Due to the small space where the new equipment had to go, they had to temporarily remove my dryer and mount the new HWH on some low cement blocks so that it would fit. I knew this install was going to be a hassle. They never complained and were courteous and professional. They were also good about keeping my home clean—they put down tarps and towels to ensure nothing got dirty, damaged or scratched. Now that I’ve had the new HWH for a couple months, I’ve noticed my water heats faster and lasts longer. My water bill has also decreased. They did a great job for a decent price and once again I am impressed with Windy City Mechanical. Highly Recommend!

Thomas Walden is the owner and he was on the premises to make sure everything was great for my installation! Many owners don’t get their hands dirty! He and his team were meticulous, detail oriented, and we’re fair and honest with pricing

Highly recommend this company. Just had a brand new AC and furnace installed since my previous ac was leaking and furnace was 33 years old. Salesman was not pushy at all, I felt very comfortable asking him any questions without feeling like he was only out for a sale. The installation team was professional, friendly. Always had a mask on due to covid, shoes are covered coming in and out of the home and covered are carpet up on the staircase to basement. After install was complete, we had a walkthrough of everything that was done, clean installation. Everything working beautifully now. I had 4 companies come out for estimates and they had the BEST price. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

I had my air conditioning unit replaced by Windy City Mechanical and they did a great job. The workmen were professional. Everything about the installation went smoothly.
