My experience with Windy City was phenomenal. Tom the owner spent nearly 2 hours at my home. He made me feel very comfortable in the decision to chose Windy City to replace my A/C and furnace. He asset the dampers, duct vents and both units.He went well beyond the scope of just selling me equipment. I had 4 other companies and not on took the time to do any of these things. My installers Adam and Derrick were very professional. They arrive on time and completed the job in a very timely manner. After completion they went over the installation process, took away old equipment and throughly clean the area. My job was done on a Monday and it’s taking me until Thursday to write this review as I had so many good things to say. I highly recommend this company if you are in need of repair or new installation. Great pricing also!!!

Highly professional from sales call to installation. The entire process was seamless. Tom and the installers were very pleasant to work with. Our installation was quick, professional, thorough and precise. Tom was very knowledgeable, informative and professional. He answered all of our questions and put our worries to ease. I would recommend Windy City Mechanical, Inc. to anyone with a need for any type of heating or cooling repair or installation. One other important factor the installers did was to also comply with COVID protocol, they kept their face masks on the entire time during installation. This was greatly appreciated to say the least along with their excellent work!

Technician performed my annual furnace check on a unit they installed. The technician was at my home a total of 16 minutes. He removed the cover, vacuumed the burner debris and put the cover back on. Never fired up the burners or checked the output. Owner offered to Re inspect but I was not interested. Total sham of an inspection !

Every interaction I have had with Windy City Mechanical have been great. I have had a few furnace cleanings and now a new furnace installed. Ken came to our home. I felt he was knowledgeable and very personable. He gave me his fair assessment of my current furnace and let me make the decision.

My wife was home for the installation. She was happy with the care the installers took and how they updated her on the process while they were working on our installation.

The owner Tom followed up with us after the fact and answered an additional question I had. He is very nice.

I love our new Rheem furnace. It is much quieter and was about the same price as the furnace I purchase 12 year earlier. My mistake last time was to choose a company simply because it was closest to our home.

Tom and his crew are awesome! We own/maintain 11 apartment units, and their service is second to none. One of their tech's Mike was just out and diagnosed 1 of our boiler units in just a few minutes. My tenant had heat again within an hour of calling them!

We have used many HVAC contractors over the years, and they are by far the best and most reliable. Incredibly fair and professional to deal with. These guys have been solid in all aspects, from complete multi-unit building system installations, to the annual maintenance on my own home. We use them for all our HVAC needs , and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Had an issue of a leaking AC/Furnace pipe Down into condo below me unit, they came out pretty quickly and kept in communication with me on where they were in terms of scheduling and timing. Got leak stopped and service professional listened to all my novice questions and gave me tips on how to keep my unit running trouble free for a while. Fee wasn’t out of reach. Thank You once again for your experience.

Our furnace and a/c were 27 years old so it was time for new equipment. Based on the sterling reviews we saw on the internet, we called Windy City for an estimate. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. From Sales to Back Room to Installation, it was a great experience. In addition to the furnace and a/c, we replaced our humidifier and had an air purifier installed. We also had them replace our hot water tank. Great people to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Everyone from My initial call to Jaime for an estimate to Tom coming to give me the estimate to the installers Adam and Derrick were excellent!!! Adam took his time the entire install to ensure I knew what he was doing, why he was doing it and was so professional and knowledgeable! The entire team are top notch and respected me, my family, and my home entirely. They wore masks, kept 6ft away, wore shoe covers, and put tarps down anywhere they went in my home. I would recommend Windy City for all of your heating and cooling needs!

Tom and crew were not only professional, knowledgeable and friendly, but they went above and beyond my expectations. I replaced 2 furnaces, 2 air conditioners and purchased a ductless air conditioner for attic space in a very old house. Tom not only assisted us with the quote, but he also spent a good deal of time with his excellent staff during the install to assure the project was done right. They repaired/changed items that had been installed incorrectly by previous contractors, explained how are system worked and registered it with the MFG. for our records. I highly recommend Windy City, you will week served by them.

Tom was very helpful & took the time during the estimate to make sure we found the right solution for our needs. Adam & Derek during the installation were very professional and took the time to explain our new AC & water heater systems. They were considerate of keeping the house clean & even played with my dog! We were very happy with the price & quality!
