I wanted you to know about a an awesome employee you have in Jim. Last Friday, my kids and I were stuck on a dangerous median near 27th and State Street after my SUV broke down in the middle of the road. As the cars honked and angrily drove around us, I cuddled my kids on the median.

My kids were scared and I was overwhelmed watching smoke/steam or whatever, pour out of my engine as the heavy traffic showed complete disregard for the danger at hand. I looked over and saw Jim coming toward me offering to help. I didn't know him but I noticed he was wearing a repairman uniform. He asked me several questions about how he could best help my kids and I get to safety. He was very compassionate and I could see calm, and concern in his face. Thankfully, he moved my car to a safe place and popped the hood to see if he could see a quick fix. He offered to call a tow truck, but I told him I could take it from there. I didn't realize he was a stranger that had pulled over to help! I thought he worked at the repair shop on the corner.

Jim was a breath of fresh air as I dealt with a tough situation. He told me he had to run to an appointment and offered again to help with anything he could.
I thanked him and he ran off to his car, which was parked around the corner.
Thank you for having an employee with such incredible character. He is the only one that stopped to help. Can you believe that? Nobody stopped to help a mother and her two kids stranded on a median as smoke billowed out of the Lincoln SUV.

Although I have a brand new AC and furnace at my house, I may not need your services personally, but, I will definitely be recommending your company to anyone that asks for a referral.

We woke up this morning with the heater not working. Called Capital City and Kip, a technician, was here within an hour. He worked quickly and thoroughly and we were up and running in no time. Thanks for your quick response. Kip is awesome!

David is always so friendly and takes time to make sure everything stays in top condition. He is also good with my fur babies. Office staff is always friendly. Just all around professional and great service.

They were quick when I needed them and were the least expensive (out of the 4 companies called) for replacing my furnace. Love that they don't charge after hour fees for emergencies! They also worked with me on payments. Would recommend them.

~ Could not ask for better service. We had some weird sounds coming from our furnace. Roger came out and diagnosed the issue right away. He was on top of it...finding the right part...and there we go; all is well. We were so impressed with the timeliness of the service and the friendliness and knowledge of our technician.

I've been meaning to write a review for capital city for some time now. But feel I should. This was one of the worst companies we've ever worked with. We had one of their techs out a couple years ago to reinspect a failing a/c unit on a home we recently purchased. He told me that he was asked to just do whatever it takes to get it running initially, and he knowingly knew it wasn't worth fixing, and that it would fail again. And of course it had, and that was why i had him out. We then got both managers involved. They both came out to assess the situation. They then proceeded to tell me that the unit was fine, and holding pressure etc, and so on........Even went as far to tell me that having it replaced wouldn't matter in a home our size, and the temp it was maintaining was normal, I second guessed that, but they were adamant it was cooling fine. Shortly after, the unit completely failed, while struggling for some time blowing luke warm into the home. All lies, all of it. They were content covering up the work done, even though they knew it wasn't worth it, and unwilling to do anything to make it right. Our current hvac company was shocked to hear what had gone on, and now we have a great system that cools our home well below what capital city stated was possible. I took some time to write this all out, and only ever leave reviews when service is exceptional or shockingly bad......there are better options out there!

Capital heating has done a great job for us. They replaced all our HVAC ducting and reran some gas lines. They were professional and showed up when they said they would. They even reran a gas line after they did it exactly how I asked and then I changed my mind. Thank you for the excellent work that you do. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to anyone that needs HVAC services.

Very kind gentlemen and same day service. My only complaint is they stated they could not warranty replace the compressor on my Bryant system because they do not sell that product. I believed them and paid the $65 service call for nothing. I then called out Jim's per the technicians recommendation. Once Jim's arrived they told me that it was not true that Capital could not have replaced the compressor on warranty, they suggested that they didn't want to do it.

After leaving this review the owner reached out to me personally to let me know they would be willing to replace the compressor at cost and just charge for labor and refridgerant ($1000) or replace the whole unit for $1500 today. I chose to replace the unit so that we would have a new 10 year warranty. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly impressed with the ownership taken on this and will recommend capital to anyone.

Really enjoy working with this company. Good prices, good service. Fair and honest. They’re keeping my old heater going until I need to replace it. I appreciate them!

These are great professionals- they keep us posted if there are any delays in their arrivals, they leave a detailed report if everything done and always address all of our concerns.
