Capital City Heating & Cooling

For the past couple of weeks, the furnace has been running almost non-stop but the house was cold. I thought the new thermostat I installed last fall was the culprit because it kept rebooting, then realized the furnace was the one stopping & starting cutting power to the thermostat. I called Capital City & Roger came out the same day. He serviced the furnace which I knew was badly needed & replaced one part. Now I'm luxuriating in my heated home! I was very pleased with the service & the pricing. Thank you Roger & Capital City!

My wife and I heard a loud pop in our house. We could not find the problem and went on with our day as usual.
Later that night I tried to turn the heater on and nothing happened at all. I called a local heating and air company that just wanted to sell me a new furnace without even looking at mine.
Not happy with the results I googled for a local heating and air guy in the valley. I found Capital City Heating and Air.
So glad I did Michael the owner shows up before his scheduled time, very courteous, and informative. He asked if he can look through some things on the furnace. Then he found the problem a wire in my wall that was sparking and started a small fire when he moved the wire in the wall.
His response " you do not need a new furnace you need an electrician". AMAZING honesty and integrity from this man. My wife and I are so thankful to him and his company for saving our home and our lives.
I will always call Capital City Heating and air if I need any service or repair installation for now on. No other company exists in my opinion then them.
Save your time money and home call Capital City Heating and Air. You won't be sorry.

Michael took time out of his busy day to stop our personally and inspect our HVAC system. He was incredibly kind, offered great customer service, and offered a great price on our inspection. We would use this company again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!

Gotta say they did one thing right and that is show up on time for a late night repair. Other than that, it appears they intentionally left the service valves open on our A/C unit which would have cause the R22 to completely leak out of the coarse of a month that would have led to, at minimum, a reservice call with us scratching our heads wondering why the issue got much worse out after their service. Thank God for a close friend double checking their work after we experienced worsening conditions the day following service.

I called these guys at 10:30pm on a Monday and (Michael - I think ) was here within 20 minutes. My A/C was out and the house was pushing 85+°. He immediately came, got here, assessed the situation and quickly diagnosed that the capacitor was bad. Swapped it out and had us up and running within 10 minutes. I can't tell you enough how impressed I was with the customer service, the speedy arrival, diagnosis and repair. What a true professional. To top it all off, they don't charge "After hours fees". There is no doubt in my mind that I will always be a customer of Capital Heating and Cooling and reccomend to everyone I know! What a great company!

Charles Meissner was an excellent service technician and able to find loose wiring issue to fix tripping circuit breaker on AC outside unit. TML wanted to sell my mother a brand new one for $5600! Thanks Capital City for not being predatory on the elderly!

Capital City is a great HVAC company but the professional people that work at the location and come to your home are even better. Have done business with others but these people at Capital City Heating and Cooling are at a much higher level than the others. Best by far. Professional, on time, detail oriented and above all very very honest. No games, no hidden agenda's, no special specials just real people that care and want to help you out. You don't need special offers when you do everything correct, right and straight forward honestly the first time! Next time you need help with air conditioning, furnance or questions just call Capital City and Cooling and get it done. They are a part of my home forever now!

Had Roger out the first day, could not be bothered to stick around more than 15 minutes to try and find the issue. 2nd day Kip was out and my bill came to $880 and the issue was NOT fixed. 3rd day Roger was back out and although he stayed a bit longer this time he still could not find the issue. Incompetent!! I finally called out a second company who found the issue and fixed it. DO NOT recommend!!
