Hot2Cold previously installed a new AC unit. They are now coming back and finishing a complete, whole house job, which was not originally done because my drug addicted son wanted to keep them out of a locked room. No one told me this or I would have corrected that prohibition from the initial stages

This company is thorough and professional, once they get the work order and scheduling straight. Yes, you receive a photo and short bio of the person coming out. Yes, you receive frequent updates re time of arrival. The one thing they need to learn is to make sure they take direction from the owner of the property and not someone who is residing at the property, even if it is the owner's son, who was not paying the bill. Double checking and following up on requested work is crucial and was not done. It all worked out in the end but I had to push the work through. The salesman thought the work had already been completed and was surprised when I told him that it was not. I would use them again but I would know that I have to make sure what I needed done was done. The workers were all nice and professional, although the service department seems short staffed as I had to reschedule multiple times because another job ran over. They just need to install some business safeguards to make sure mistakes don't happen.

James was a breath of fresh air! We asked for a free estimate to clean our A/C Ducts. After inspecting our system he told us we did not need a cleaning! We had two other companies out and give estimates to do the same cleaning for over $1000. One did not even look at the system the other looked in one vent. James was knowledgeable about our system and give us several tips on how to make it run more effectively. I wish other companies were as honest. I will call Hot 2 Cold next time I have an A/C issue.

I can't even describe everything James and his team did you fix/replace our AC system... because he did SO MUCH! He was extremely detailed, informative, and thoughtful as he walked us through all that was going on with our air and all the different ways we could go about fixing the problem. He gave us multiple options of maintenance - which I really appreciated and helped us decide the best course of action to fix the problem without completely breaking out budget. And when it came time to actually doing the work, his team arrived early and stayed late until the job was done! Would HIGHLY recommend using this company.

Emergency repair required, but it turned out to be a faulty breaker unrelated to the HVAC system. Many companies would have taken advantage of that situation as a chance to make some real money. The flat rate was $205 but I appreciated him coming out right away and being so professional about what he’d have to charge to replace it. I truly appreciate honesty and professionalism.

I am a General Contractor that has worked numerous times with this company for A/C coil cleanings. On 6/8/2020 they cleaned the coils at the above mentioned location. The customer called me on 6/29/2020 to express that the unit is not cooling and that the technician left his gauges on the condenser attached. As a result of all the gas in the unit leaked out and eventually damaged the unit. I called Taylor at Hot 2 Cold and she expressed immediate concern, apologized, and promised that the technician would arrive the same day at 9pm to make the situation right. I informed my customer and they were relieved. A few minutes later I received a call from the owner of the company Wayne who told me to find someone else to fix the A/C because they are not going back there. Wayne stated that the customer "should have noticed sooner that the technician left the gauges on the unit". First of all, nobody checks their condenser on a regular basis, and the technician who left the unit like that should have came back as he is the licensed technician by the State of Florida. Wayne also said that our "business relationship is over". As a business owner, I am shocked by the attitude of another business owner especially when his technician dropped the ball and made a huge mistake. I cannot express how scary it is to work with a company that the technician makes a mistake like that and does not attempt to correct it as if it was going to correct itself on it's own. But as a customer you expect management to make the situation right, which in this case the owner was even more negligent and careless than the technician.

In order to solve the situation I was forced to contact another company to repair the damage that Hot 2 Cold caused. The bill ran me $555 for this repair. Attached there will be photos showing how Hot 2 Cold left the unit and a copy of the paid receipt from the company I had to hire in order to clean up their mess.

Definitely recommend this company. The final installation worked out well all except for one little issue with the system filter. The company is great and customer service was far better than I'm used to. They worked really hard to handle the one strange problem where the large system filter was not installed at the initial installation and then it took multiple visits to figure it out, but they kept persisting and were very concerned to make sure it worked out. In the end I had a wonderful visit from a senior tech Luis who advised me on a number of things and was excellent at his craft.
