The technician was great, but the customer service is highly lacking. I asked them to change the number in the system to my number and they confirmed that it was changed I scheduled a maintenance appointment for both of my units. Dispatch repeatedly called my husband number (not the number I changed it to) and told him if they did not get a response that the appointment would be pushed. When he was able to check is voicemails I promptly called them and asked them to again change the number to mine since my husband isn’t around his phone. They said they would call when a tech was dispatched. Thankfully my husband answered the phone because again dispatch called the wrong number. The tech showed up but did not have the “allotted time” due to not having the right information in the system. He only had 1 unit in his notes and did not have it down for maintenance only that it wasn’t working properly. So we had to make ANOTHER appointment with the time window of “in the afternoon between 12pm-9pm” because they person making the appointment didn’t write the ticket correctly. What a waste of time.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Del Air's appointment management system, and I must say it left me thoroughly disappointed and questioning whether I want to continue doing business with them. I initially contacted Del Air based on a referral from Lennox and had high hopes for their services. However, the way my appointment was handled left much to be desired.

Upon calling Del Air on a Saturday to schedule an appointment for my AC check, I spoke with a representative who seemed helpful at first. We agreed on a Monday time slot between 8 am and 12 pm, and I adjusted my schedule accordingly. However, when Monday arrived, I waited patiently all morning, only to realize that nobody was coming. Concerned, I contacted Del Air to inquire about the delay, and they seemed equally clueless about the situation. They assured me that a technician would be sent out as soon as possible and rescheduled my appointment for a new time slot between 12 pm and 6 pm.

Sadly, history repeated itself, and that time slot also came and went without any sign of a technician. Frustrated, I called Del Air again, and this time I was told they were experiencing delays but assured that someone would be dispatched to my location. They rescheduled my appointment once more, this time for a new time slot between 6 pm and 10 pm.

To add insult to injury, I received a call from Del Air at 8 pm, informing me that they would not be able to make it that day and promised to make me their first stop the following morning. At this point, my patience had worn thin, and I was thoroughly disillusioned with Del Air's lack of regard for my time. It seemed as though they were giving me time slots they had no intention of honoring.

Finally, on Tuesday morning, a technician arrived and performed his job professionally. I must commend him for his expertise and dedication, which is the sole reason Del Air receives two stars in this review. However, it is important to note that this professionalism does not absolve Del Air's management of their responsibility to improve their appointment management system and customer service.

In conclusion, Del Air's appointment management system left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. While the technician who eventually arrived was commendable, the lack of punctuality and disregard for my time exhibited by Del Air's management was unacceptable. I sincerely hope that the management takes this review as constructive feedback and works towards improving their systems and ensuring a more seamless and respectful experience for their customers in the future.

Dont waste your time or money with this company. I had to replace 2 - 3 ton units in my home. I was told the area we were to place them was too small so I contracted a concrete company to pour a larger pad. When Del Air came out they said the pad (Which I was given dimensions to) was too small. I absorbed it as we all know stuff happens. The install went fine and everything worked ok for about 3 days when we realized the thermostats sold to us we could not program. We contacted the company who sent out 2 completely incompetent and rude service techs who managed to do nothing more than infuriate my wife while I was out of town. So they sent another single tech who couldn't figure out the problem. I contacted them again and our conversation got heated and they sent a third tech who was phenomenal, and explained that the units were wired incorrectly! A few months have passed and no issues until the other day one of the T-stats went blank. Again Im out of town for work and my wife tried calling with no success so I called. It was explained to me that she needs to clean out the drain for the float switch....something that will be Chinese to my wife. I explained that I wont be back until Sunday, can someone just come verify that's the issue to which I was told sure, they'll be by on Monday. We all have that "once in awhile" hiccup when having work done, but the unprofessionalism on too many instances in this whole process give such a frustration and discouragement Id hate for anyone else to experience. Do your research and get some references because after the work is done, its just too late.

Still waiting for maintenance. Scheduled the appointment 3 months in advance. Day of the appointment no one showed up and no phone call to tell me they were backed up and not coming. I had to call to see what was going on 5 hrs after the scheduled appointment window start time. Then an hour later someone called me back clueless that I had called and rescheduled to the next day. And told me the rescheduled appointment wasn't in their system!!! Today (the next day) I've been waiting 7 hrs for the rescheduled maintenance and no call! So based on my experience yesterday I've called every 2hrs for an update. First time I was told I was next in line. 2 hrs later called again and told they couldn't tell me when a tech would be heading my way. Another 2 hrs later same thing and told it would be after 8pm! I can't believe this terrible service! I had to reschedule for the following Monday and no time frame given! It's an all day opening and they'll call 30-45 minutes before they head my way! What kind of service is this! An all day window? Really? And I've been a customer since 2018 and spent a lot of money on maintenance and extended warranties. If I could rate them less then 1 star I would. This is some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced with any company

Builder installed with delair. I signed up for maintenance. We have 2 standard units and a split. Very pricey, $600+ entitles me to 2 visits per year. I need to provide the filters. First visit, today. The tech was great. Filters were filthy, she said the should be changed monthly. I'd like delair to do a mini service and change them. Not clear if they will do so

Have only had our AC unit for 4 months and it’s broken 3 different times. At first we were told that a technician would be by within the week. Nobody showed up, no call, no follow up. We’ve been without AC for a month now and every time I call we’re told that the supervisor is busy and will call us back… Choose your provider accordingly

Reggie was very professional, went through what to expect during his service visit, what was covered and could be a potential cost, he completed his visit, there was no issues, he gave me a few tips on ongoing monthly maintenance and left no trace of his visit, neat, professional and informative. Good service.

I would choose Zero stars if I could.Very poor customer service overall...the supervisor is very rude.
I have an air conditioner unit that is less than 2 years old that has been randomly shutting off once or twice every week which has to be restarted at the breaker. A technician came out today and told me that a part went bad (less than 2 years!) and while the part was covered under the warranty…the labor of $535 plus another $99 diagnostic fee would be charged…on a unit that’s less than 2 years old!! The technician was also very surprised that the unit was only 2 years old because it looked older!!!
I have reported them to the BBB and in the process found dozens more complaints against them for the same issue!
Fraudulent company…Do Not do business with them!

They Installed the air conditioner in my new home and first installed it incorrectly and caused a leak into my closet below the air handler. That unit needed the compressor replaced and drain line was not installed correctly thus the leak. Next they had to come out and fix my second unit because they didn't fill it with gas when they installed it. Flex duct lines are kinked and need more hangers. Ducts are also run in worst way for air flow. They ran a return from the master bedroom into the top of the main return and did not put a filter on it. Did not install outside temperature sensor for ventilator. They recently came back to balance my AC because is blows hard in the master bedroom but not to the far bedroom. Did they install dampers? Nope. The guy stuffed cut pieces of duct board with a smaller hole in the middle to restrict flow at the register. See photos, I had to remove 4 of these. My house was warmer after this "balancing". Restricting air flow at the duct is not the proper way to balance. This was probably causing increased static pressure in the plenum dropping the efficacy of the unit. Also don't know why any installer would still use a 1" filter, super cheap. 5" units cost nothing and are take minimal time to add at install. What a joke. If it weren’t warranty work, i would have already gone elsewhere. I will have a pro balance my system.
