I woke up this morning stepping into a small puddle of water in my hallway directly in front of my air handler. I immediately looked up at my ceiling and saw no signs of leaks. After mopping up the puddle, I checked every where I knew to check and did not find the source of the leak. After a little while, I decided it had to be the a/c that was leaking because a small amount of water appeared in front of the air handler where I'd just mopped earlier. I googled AC repair companies and decided to go with Hot 2 Cold because of their stellar customer service ratings. I spoke to a very nice young lady, I think her name is Jeanette. I explained to her my problem and she arranged service between 4:00 and 6:00 pm today. I was happy to get same day service and asked if they could come sooner if possible. She said she'd text me if someone became available sooner (and she did). I was outside trying to drain the water from the line with my shop vac (with absolutely no success, nothing was coming out) when Wayne Giese drove up. I was happily surprised that he was an hour early, as I hadn't read my text message yet from Hot 2 Cold that Wayne was on his way. Wayne quickly diagnosed the problem and began working to clear out the drain line. He explained what he had to do to clear the line and was very transparent and upfront about the cost. The line was pretty backed up and it took more than the usual chemicals and effort to clear it. But what I liked most about Wayne is that he treated my AC unit like it was his own. He would often reference what he does for his own unit and that of his other customers. He didn't like the way the kill switch was positioned on the handler and he changed it out for me Free of Charge! Now, anyone willing to do that will definitely have my repeat business! He not only replaced the part free of charge, he had to go and get it from the shop! He also stayed several extra minutes to make sure the unit restarted after replacing the kill switch. I am so happy and thankful for Wayne coming to my rescue. He was truly a Godsend! Thank you Hot 2 Cold!

James was extremely helpful, quickly solving the issue with my A/C. He was prompt, and there was a lot of communication both via phone call and text beforehand to let me know who was coming and when. Bittersweet, because my issue was simple and likely one I could have solved on my own. However, James stuck around to ensure the issue was fixed and gave me additional pointers and explanations along the way. Friendly conversation and he was in and out in maybe 15 minutes. To top it all off, James is one of their engineers who was helping out the technicians during the busy time of summer.

Rodney and Corey worked diligently to resolve an issue with my A/C handler, which was not dehumidifying correctly. Both worked 4+ hours, with hardly any breaks.
Based on the excellent work performed, I would without hesitation recommend the company to anyone for their A/C needs.

A/C is working as expected, before their visit, the unit was on for 18-20 hours per day. The electric bill was upwards of $500, but will be cut in half with the A/C now working as expected.

Our AC went down on a Sunday afternoon and we needed emergency service. The temp inside the home was 82 and climbing. I found Hot 2 Cold through Google search and decided to call them because of their good reviews. The dispatch person was friendly, very professional and sympathetic to our situation. She said the technician, Charles, was finishing up another job and would arrive with 2 hours. He arrived within that window, quickly identified the problem and fixed it—instructing me on what he was doing along the way. I definitely would use the services of Hot 2 Cold again.

We solicited bids from several companies to replace our aging A/C unit. Brennan came out to provide us with a bid, he was on time, professional and did a thorough assessment of our needs, took time to explain recommended work and provided multiple proposals. In the end, we decided to go with another company, similar unit, just a different brand. Hot2Cold had a slightly higher price point and the warranty on labor was much less or we would need to purchase an upgrade, whereas the other company had it built in for a lower overall cost. Again, Hot2Cold was quick to respond, courteous and professional. Brennan did an excellent job, we just felt the other company was the best option.

We have used Hot2Cold several times - replacing ducts, installing new thermostats (hated the Nest) and now replacing the capacitor. They were significantly less expensive than another company I’ve used (Cornerstone) - by hundreds (actual cost we paid to replace a capacitor) and in the case of the duct replacement, thousands of dollars difference in the estimates. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment to the final repair, every team member has been professional and helpful. Quality work and not once have they tried to sell me something extra or found “one more thing” that needed to be fixed. With many companies it’s easier to list the companies I won’t do business with anymore, but I feel good about recommending Hot2Cold. We will continue to use them for our future repairs.

Geraldo and Anthony showed concern regarding my family's well being and he was eager in getting our system back up and running when the temperature outside was 91゚ and the temperature inside our home was 87゚...and my wife was working from her home office.
