This is an EXCEPTIONAL company. My AC stopped working abruptly late in the afternoon, and they had a technician at my house in less than an hour. Jerry performed in-depth troubleshooting, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it swiftly. He was highly professional, clearly liked his job, had all tools/equipment/materials on-hand, and demonstrated a great deal of competence.I would definitely use Adirondack again, and recommend it highly. It is an an operation of TRUE quality!

I have worked with several AC companies in the past 2 weeks hoping to find a solution to my " Hi Tech Hi efficiency " AC unit with a large computer " brain " that craps out with every storm.
Adirondack services was the BEST. Technician Jerry was everything you would want in a service person. I felt he was honest & knowledgeable. Didn't try to " up sell " me. AND saved me a thousand dollars compared to repairs other companies wanted to make. Thank you Adirondack & thank you Jerry!

We requested service for a problem we were having with our air conditioning system. First, we were highly impressed after several calls to other companies how quickly the technician arrived. Cody was extremely professional and showed us the cause of the problem we were having and gave us his advice on the best way to fix the problem. We were extremely impressed with Cody's knowledge, capability and appreciated the manner in which he discussed the problem with us. We will certainly be using Adirondack Services in the near future.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - I have multiple properties and have used these guys for years. Not anymore. A few months ago I had a compressor go out on an old ac unit and got a good price and warranty on a new unit. Was happy with that. Previous service calls/charges were somewhat fair. Unfortunately just a few mos later the air handler at this same location started leaking water down into a hallway. I called these guys to come clear out the ac condensation drip line. So they come out and give me a quote of $300. Very high for less than an hour of work but I approved the work because the drain was hard to get to. But there was still 1/4" of water in the drain pan and I asked if that could be vacuumed out too. The tech said sure, for another $125. Really? A 1/2 gal of water and 10 minutes of work? No thanks. And he already had his vacuum out, was already using it. Ripoff. So the tech finishes up and shows me a bill for $405 and I said wait, I approved $300. He says well there is a dignostic charge too of $90. What? There was nothing to diagnose. I was not advised in the beginning there would be a diagnosis charge. Talk about bait and switch. They were called to unclog a drain line, not to figure anything out. What a ripoff.

Over the past 10 years living in the Tampa metro area, I’ve had the opportunity to work with 4 different HVAC companies. Adirondack being the last of the 4 and I’ve been very satisfied for a few years now. If you’ve ever had to deal with HVAC companies, you know things go from bad to worse in a hurry, I’ve had my share of those issues (see my other review for details😂)

Adirondack has fixed broken systems on a Saturday evening in the middle of summer and they have also performed scheduled maintenance. The prices are in line with other companies, I would never suggest they are the least expensive, but you also get what you pay for. I started using them on a rental property and they performed exceptionally well. Repaired the unit (it was just a high water issue) and they began to do regular maintenance. I then needed service at my personal home, I was out of town and needed things fixed in a hurry and I needed to trust I won’t be taken advantage of. It was two capacitors that failed after a nearby lightening strike. They also performed a general check and made some suggestions to maintain optimal performance. I had another rental property that needed a regular maintenance as the original company that installed the unit four years ago hasn’t been keeping up with the annual checks and service ( it’s been my experience most only show up for the big money installs). Adirondack showed up, serviced, made suggestions and have taken over the maintenance schedule.

All this detail was to provide a level of understanding on why I use them. It’s their level of service. Not pushy, always professional, over explain everything so the common person can make informed decisions, and they show up. On time?…almost always, and the only time they came late, they called before they were late to offer a later time same day or to reschedule fora different day. Service is their selling point. They provide excellent service.

If you have a personal home that requires an HVAC system, call them when it needs service. Use their maintenance program. If you have tenant occupied properties, use their services, they deal directly with the tenant for scheduling saving you that time to coordinate.

Adirondack is always professional and responsive. I called for repair on a weekend and a technician was dispatched within two hours, even late into the evening. Ultimately our AC had to be replaced and Adirondack provided a top of the line system at a great price within two days. Highly recommended.

Cody was one of the most professional, polite, well spoken and on time service call I have ever had. I called on a Saturday at 4pm after calling 3 other places starting Thursday when my a/c went out, no one got back to me. Cody answered first ring on a weekend and saved me from my wife who was about to kill me with our house being 87 degrees. Cody went out of his way to retrieve the replacement part we needed, within 2 hours the house was starting to feel better, he cleaned up and left the area of work cleaner than it was before he was there. I am truly impressed with the customer service and communication from Cody with how busy everyone in the trade industry is he really made my family a priority and understood my situation and got the job done faster and better than expected.

What started as a repair became a new A/C after Technician Cody explained what would be needed to repair multiple things, costing 1/2 what a new unit would cost. Cody was extremely helpful and professional in getting us a new quote with a senior discount. Because we agreed to take a unit that was slightly used for 2 mos, we got another $1000 off which made a huge difference. It was purchased on Mon, got installed by Luis and Bryan on Wed, and the inspector came on Thurs to certify the permit and inspect the installation that passed with flying colors. Manager Vicki was exceptional in scheduling things so quickly. She is very thorough, nice and diligent with clear, helpful instructions for the 3 days and made follow up calls to make sure things were going well. She truly seems to care about customers. Customer Service from all at Adirondack is excellent and I would highly recommend them to others.
