Buckhalter Heating and Air Conditioning

My mother's air conditioning went out so I went to home advisors and Buckhalter heating and air came up with great reviews and I was not disappointed with the service or the pricing that we received. Chester was very helpful in getting everything up and going as soon as possible. I will definitely use them again.

From the start, Buckhalter was extremely easy to work with! They have great response times and customer service from everyone who works there and took the time to explain things to me when I asked a thousand questions. The AC they put in looks and runs great, and the price can't be beat! I would highly recommend!

A very pleasant repair person arrived within 4 hours of my first contact with the company. He was wearing covid mask which I appreciated.
After describing the symptoms he immediately went to the outside unit, found a burned wire, fixed it, consulted as to why it would have burned, replaced the contacts, and wallah, we were done.
Well, not really. Then he then cleaned the unit, checked the compressor fluids, and checked the output air temp. Then consulted with me about some duct and airflow changes that I could do myself that would increase the units efficiency.
THEN HE GAVE ME THE BILL!!!!
I won't disclose the amount but I can say two things about it
1. It was pleasingly reasonable.
2. It was less than a previous service call by another company with a lot more service.

I would highly recommend Buckhalter for any AC needs in Gainesville. I used them to install a new 1 ton mini split. They had previously done great work relocating my existing unit a few months ago. Chester installed my minisplit and did a great job. He is a great guy and very knowledgeable about mini splits. Throughout the installation he showed and explained to me what he was doing and made it a great learning experience. I am extremely grateful to have had him install my unit.

Additionally, a week after the installation was complete I had something wrong with the mini split. I texted Chester and within 10 min he called me and showed up to my house to work on the unit. He got it up and running again in no time! 10/10 service!

I came home the day after Christmas to my house that was 39 degrees. I had left the thermostat @ 67!! I called Buchalter as I had purchased my ac/heat system from them. By the end of that day 6pm Chester had my heat going for me. I was very grateful. His cheery attitude helped, too. Definitely will be using them again.

We had a new a.c. unit installed by Buckhalter and couldn't have been happier with the service that was provided. The company was very responsive and the installers were very professional. They worked from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. in 112 degree weather to get our office cooled off, so we could be operational again.

Chester came to repair my system and did a great job! He was personable and professional. My heater works (and looks) like new. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks, Chester!

My wife and I had recently relocated from South Dakota and returned back to Florida to be closer to family. We purchased our forever home that had an antiquated 1990 Carrier AC and a 1989 air supply system which was not functioning correctly due to the age of both units. They also explained everything we needed to know about the new system, filter, wifi thermostat and seasonal maintenance requirements. We love that our home is now cooler than outside and very pleased with the product and services we have received and look forward in working with Team Buckhalter to maintain our HVAC investment. Buckhalter Heating & Air helped me install some new duct-work in my attic. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They took ownership of what I needed to get done and saw it through to the end! Their prices are also very reasonable. Would recommend without a second thought.

Called at 9:00am. Tech was out here at 9:30. AC was fixed by 9:45. Nuff said. Chester was the technician and he did an amazing job.
