They were fast and reliable with the installation. They were professional and courteous during the installation. My only criticism was that they did a poor job cleaning up after they were finished and because it was getting late in the workday, they rushed through the overview of the operation of the thermostat.

I hope this company gets tons of business! They were so awesome and I wish I could give 6/5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! We had a heating issue where our furnace was short cycling. The builder’s contractor could not figure out the issue, cleared the code, and said everything is “working properly”. Needless to say the issue reoccurred. My neighborhood FB group recommended Good Fellas and I gave them a shot. They were in the area and showed up within an hour. They ended up finding a condensation drain that was clogged with dirt and debris which was probably how it was installed since we’ve had the problem since the house was brand new. They only charged me the diagnostic fee and spent a decent amount of time properly diagnosing the problem and fixing it as well. Thanks and great job. I highly recommend this company!

Goodfellas to the rescue! Our furnace started smoking and a quick call to Goodfellas told us exactly what to do. Michael called us right away and talk us through what to do for the night. Michael came first thing the next day and was able to tell us the problem right away. He had to order a part and scheduled the repair when it was convenient for us. Michael performed the repair quickly and expertly and we were back in cool air! Michael also took the time to check out a long term issue with our other a/c and was able to diagnosis the issue that other HVAC companies were not. We have suffered with bad advise for 6 years and Michael was able to figure out the problem in 20 mins. We’ll be having him come back to fix that too!

GF sent someone to my home for an annual furnace checkup who didn’t have enough experience to be working alone. I blame GF, not the tech. I later saw a review by a GF tech saying GF does not properly train its techs. I will never use this company again. The only reason I assigned 2 stars instead of 1 is because I only had to ask once to receive a full refund. The tech said my furnace was not working properly and if the parts were not available, I’d have to buy a new heater. I received an estimate of $1,975 to “fix” my heater. I’ve had a checkup almost every year since I bought the furnace in 2009 (w/o any issues), and I could tell that this tech did not know what he was doing. 1st clue: Soon after arriving, as he held a gas monitor, he claimed I had a gas leak. I asked which type of gas and wondered aloud if he meant carbon monoxide (furnaces typically either leak its fuel, natural gas, or a combustion by-product, e.g., carbon monoxide). He replied “Gas. The kind your hot water heater and furnace use.” Then he dropped the subject, which seemed odd since having a leak of any gas would need to be fixed. 2nd clue: I knew my furnace was dual something, but could not remember the 2nd word (dual-stage aka 2-stage). Although I tried to prod him into saying it twice, he did not say the term, until after he spoke with someone over the phone. After he left, I checked online reviews for GF and other companies, to get a 2nd opinion. I was able to get someone from another company out the next day, after much worry about this expensive repair. Luckily, this person was certified (he guessed that my GF tech hadn’t been certified, based on what I told him, which goes beyond what I described in this review). He said his company only uses certified techs and would only send one with more experience to a furnace that was more than 10 years old. He knew how to get my furnace to switch to the 2nd stage: he could either adjust the thermostat up quite a bit and wait 15 minutes or he could simply jump it right from the heater. Voila, my furnace was pronounced absolutely fine within minutes of his arrival. If I had believed the GF tech, I would have wasted almost $2,000 for nothing!

I decided to try Goodfellas Heating and Cooling for the first time. I had bought a Groupon for a furnace cleaning. My tenants had just moved out of my rental property so I had them come out to clean the furnace. The tech came out and looked at the furnace for about 5-10 minutes. He told me nothing would turn on so I needed a new furnace. He said that if I needed to replace the air conditioner in the future, the furnace would have to be pulled out so he recommended doing both at the same time. The furnace and AC may be original with the property, meaning they could be over 20 years old so if they had to be replaced I would understand. I asked for a quote for both the furnace and AC and was quoted at just under 11K. The AC unit portion was quoted at 6K. I had just replaced the AC unit in my own home about three months ago with another company. My personal home is about 1,900 square feet compared to the 1,100 square foot townhome they were quoting and I only paid $2,500. I decided to get a second opinion so I called a friend who used to work in HVAC to come check out my furnace. After a short diagnostic test, he said my high limit switch was bad, ordered a replacement part for $6 and now my furnace is up an running again. No replacement was necessary at this time. I recommend looking elsewhere for your HVAC needs but if you decide to still use Goodfellas, I recommend getting a second quote considering the fact that they quoted me at more than double for the AC unit than what I had paid with another company.

Our furnace motor went out on us at the beginning of June and the AC would not come on. This group was booked out a week and a half. I scheduled an appointment but later sent a cancellation text. I called another company and the man was not able to diagnose the problem and left without any help at all. The day of the scheduled appointment, I received a call from Goodfellas stating a technician is on the way. I was surprised not thinking the appointment was still valid. We still needed work done for the AC to get working again. Michael was our tech and he was super professional, very knowledgeable, and personable. The work was completed in 2 days and we were saved by thousands of dollars that the previous company requested before leaving without any service at all.
If you have HVAC needs, these are the Goodfellas!!

UPDATE:
So our furnace died right before the snow in September. We called Goodfellas and were informed a new furnace would need to be installed. Troy was our technician and he was knowledgeable and tried getting us approved for financing. Due to COVID and other circumstances, our credit disqualified us for a loan. Troy kept in contact with us for almost a month to see if we were able to find the funds available. Eventually my mom was able to help us out and Isaiah and Jay came and placed a new furnace in our cramped crawlspace, including moving the water heater in their way. While fixing the furnace, Jay and Isaiah told us the water heater was on it's last leg and "walking the plank" to it's end. So in order to prevent water damage to our new furnace, we had Goodfellas install the water heater as well.
Couldn't have imagined our AC not working in the hottest summer on record, not having a working furnace in a Sept snow, or having an almost busted water heater all in the same year. Goodfellas came through in huge ways for our family this year.
We so appreciate everyone from customer service to the techs to upper management!!!!

The Service From Goodfellas, was just amazing. We had to go through Goodfellas through Rheem, due to a warranty claim on a water heater. I spoke to Kendra who is just awesome. While I spoke to her she corresponded with Rheem, so we can get the rebate back from Rheem. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Luckily Andrew completed the previous job early and came at noon. He truly is the nicest person we have ever come to repair anything in our house. He walked me through everything, and answered any questions I had. Andrew even took photos of his work so we can get the rebate through Rheem. Plus he has a good sense of humor, I would recommend this company or Andrew to anyone. They really live up to the name of Goodfellas.

We were brand new to this cleaning vents deal and Goodfellas was so kind to us. They told us everything to expect and were up front about the price so there was not any surprises in the end. 2 gentlemen named Issaih came over and were so respectful, quick and efficient! They sprayed this amazing cleaning spray that made the house smell brand new! We loved our experience with them and highly recommend. We will definitely be using them in the future!

Goodfellas is your one stop shop for all HVAC needs. Mike and team are the best your gonna find in the area. Fast, professional and fair priced. Our hot water heater went out and Mike addressed the issue immediately. I cant say enough good things about this company. Give them a chance….ya wont be disappointed!
