Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning

Steer clear of this company -- they lack integrity and cannot be trusted.
The technician misdiagnosed the problem with my boiler and aggressively oversold me on replacing my "leaking" sidearm -- it was dripping, but only because the pipe joins were cold due to the boiler being out. Replacing the ignition control board that he claimed was faulty did not fix the ignition problems; the board he replaced was likely fine but he could not return the part he installed. $6,000 of repairs, with nothing actually fixed.
The technician then claimed I needed to replace the boiler, because a different part was broken (thermostat) and the heat exchanger was cracked.
In fact, when he installed the ignition control board he was either incompetent or malicious; he left the thermostat connector partially unplugged. I suspect this was done on purpose, so the boiler would display a new error code after his "fix."
The quote to replace just the boiler -- about a $3,500 unit -- was $16,000.
I got another company in, Bliss Plumbing, to look at the system. Paul Bliss methodically diagnosed the ignition problem -- a venturi valve needed to be replaced, which is a relatively modest repair. The boiler's heat exchanger was NOT cracked, Service Experts either incompetently misdiagnosed this, or they deliberately lied to try to get me to replace it.
Service Experts also claimed they purged the lines after installing the side arm, and had not in fact done this (or not done it properly); the system was full of air after they finished the installation.

Caleb called before arriving. He was on time and professional. Immediately discovered a few holes in our duct work and got the ball rolling on scheduling the repair. Got the new filter installed and checked the operation of the unit.

I have used Service Experts a number of times. Just serviced my 3 furnaces to ensure they were ready for the winter. Caleb, the technician, was friendly, seemed knowledgeable and checked all systems in a timely manner. Think I got a good rate for the work. Blowers needed cleaning but I declined the additional work because it seemed expensive. I will use Service Experts for any future work.

Danny and Jonathan conducted checks on our AC and furnace. They were courteous, professional and thorough. 👍👍

Keegan came out to take care of a recall issue. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He was excellent in communicating when he would arrive and what was being done. Completed the work quickly and completely. Can’t ask for more. I will definitely use Service Experts in the future.

Service Expert Technicians Danny & Jonathan came promptly at the appointment time and did a thorough maintenance check on our furnace including the humidifier.
