I gave 4 stars because contractor had a 4 hour window (8-12am), but was still late. He did call a little before 12am saying he was going to be late, which is better than not showing up at all, and arrived at 12:45am. I have a lot of other things to do rather than waiting 4 hours. I must admit when he did arrive he was very courteous and professional, hence again the 4 stars rating.

He was very thorough and very helpful with our questions. 5 stars for sure.

Garner was my representative today and supplied a wonderful service experience on behalf of Stanley Cooling Heating and Plumbing. His work ethic was top-notch and attention to detail was superb. He possessed great knowledge in his skill set and was very professional and courteous at all times.

Went through Lowes site to replace unit on a rental property. Motili gave me an estimate of $8900 for a 14 sere 2.5 ton split system. When I asked for a price breakdown they told me it was all bundled together. They couldn’t tell me how much for labor, how much for the system. They are only replacing existing equipment which requires no ductwork etc. I can buy the equipment between 2400-2800 so they are essentially charging almost $6000 in labor. Average labor for this locally is $1500 max.

This is not my first rodeo. My personal home I recently built has a 4 ton Rheem at 16 sere variable speed, with 4 thermostats to adjust temperature differently in other parts of the home. Entire new system install with ductwork etc came in right at $10,000.

They try to sell you on warranty. Carrier, Rheem, Mr Cool etc all have available 10 year warranty.

Found a local company they can do the whole system under 4k. I will keep my 5 grand and cut out the middle man.
