The contractor that did the final install of the pan was very Profesional friendly and did an excellent job. Very happy with the work. However the many emails,text,and phone calls leading up to the actual repair was long and confusing.

My new furnace stopped running after Motili sent out a person to do a recall on my furnace. The furnace was installed in 2019 and the recall was done in January 2022. The repair person didn’t leave any paperwork when he left so I didn’t know who to call.

In November 2021 I received a recall notice. I followed the instructions and sent the required info to the recall company. I never received any paperwork stating who the company was that handled the recall. An HVAC person was sent out and replaced repair kit in January 2022. Within a week my furnace started to shut down. I tried flipping the breaker, turning the on/off switch on the furnace and checked the fuse. After doing all that the furnace turned back in. Then in a couple of weeks it shut down again.

I ended up calling the company who installed my HVAC system. They spent over 5 hours and two days checking everything and found nothing wrong. I lived with the furnace turning off a couple of times a month for the remainder of the cold weather.

This winter the shut down continued so I called Goodman. Goodman’s phones we’re so backed up I couldn’t even get anyone to answer. I called my HVAC guys and they gave me
Another number and the switchboard answered. I was transferred to customer service and they said I needed to call the company who handles their recalls. I called them and they said they would contact a repair person and have them call me. The following week I received a call from a man saying he was calling about my furnace. I explained what was happening and he asked when I had the recall done. When I told him he said he would not come out because my HVAC company probably screwed something up.

I called the recall company and went through weeks of unreturned phone calls. They said the installer they sent had to come out. They assigned the call to him and he never called me.

On March 2nd the repair man called and said he’d be at my house in 20 minutes. I waited until 4:30 when he showed up. All he was told to do was take photos of the recalled
Part and send them to Motili. That was
the last time I heard from the repair man. On 3/6 Motili sent me an email asking me to rate their repairman and submit a review on Google.

I’m so disgusted with both Motili and the repair man that I decided to write my first ever bad review on this company. My furnace has stopped working again and I don’t know who to call.

My only complaint is that it took almost 2 years to get an appointment. There was never anyone available in my area to do the installation of the replacement part.
The actual replacement was without problem.

Poorly run company that is not accountable to their customers. The company is not concerned about their inefficiencies, or care about the products and services offered to clients. A very negative experience with Motili. If I could rate the business lower, it would be 0.
