Advantage Service Company HVAC

I used Advantage Service Company for a new AC unit a couple of years ago and was very satisfied. I currently use them for the annual check on my AC unit and my furnace. They've been punctual and professional and they've patiently answered all my questions. I'd highly recommend them.

Did a fantastic job installing new outdoor outlets. Very professional, came out next business day after my phone call, and did a really good job! Will definitely be using them again in the future!

I called for a quote on some plumbing in my master bathroom. They said that I would receive a call the next day and that they would also be able to do the quote the next day around lunch. I never received a call back. I called them back around 12:30pm to check on the status and was told that the guy would be at my house between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. At 3:20pm, I called them back because I had not heard anything. I was told that he was on the way. I showed up around the same time as the guy giving the estimate. He was nice and professional. After looking at everything, he told me that I would receive the quote in the morning. I asked him to "guesstimate" how much it would be so that wasn't surprised... boy was I ever. He told me $2,600 for a job that I had already receive 2 quotes on ranging from $880 - $1,000. Maybe they are just proud of the service they provide, but I never received a phone call or an email with the quote. I would never do business with this company and it all boils down to lack of communication. I hope that they can get that stuff sorted out because everyone I talked to seemed very pleasant.

I've called Advantage on two different blazing summer days when my AC went out, and both times they sent a technician within three or four hours who repaired the problem on the spot, once at 8:30 PM. Of course, not every problem can be corrected that quickly, but the point is that I didn't have to wait for service and it was done properly each time. I learned about Advantage at my job with a company that owned a combination warehouse and suite of offices. The HVAC system in the office section was a mess with poorly designed and installed duct work. We had been using a larger, better-known local company but were unhappy with the way they billed us for work that was often ineffective. We tried Advantage, and they did a better job for what we felt was a fairer price. I have a lot of experience with Advantage and would strongly recommend them.

Woke up this morning to my ceiling dripping water. Figured it was my upstairs toilet. I called Advantage Service company and they had Thomas out in an hour and on a Saturday at that! Not only did he get me fixed up, I definitely had a toilet leak, he was extremely professional and personable. I would not and will not hesitate to use them again.

Robert and Steve Where very knowledgeable and professional Technicians . They where 2 likable individuals. That made me feel so comfortable while they was in my presence. I’d recommend this company to anyone. Robert and Steve you guys rock!!!

They did great installing my RPZ! They were recommended by my father and now i see why, won't use anyone else. Thanks Jason Barber!

August 4th 2015.

I explained to the receptionist that i needed a 2-20 receptacle changed to a 1-10 to accommodate the new gas range I was getting. She had the technician Charlie call me and i repeated the story to him. He told me he would be here the next day later in the the afternoon. When i went to buy groceries the next morning Charlie and his trainee showed up and my grand daughter let them in (my grand daughter did not know the work I had requested) they asked where the utility room was and changed the receptacle on my dryer. They kept walking in the house asking where I was at because if it went over thirty minutes I was gonna be charged more. When I came Charlie got out of the truck and handed me a bill for $125 and asked when my new dryer was gonna be delivered. I told him that I did not want work done on my dryer that it was supposed to be done on my kitchen for my new gas range. They completed the job and my bill doubled. When I questioned them Charlie said " I didn't even charge you for my helper and I put an extra breaker in your breaker box." All though both men where very nice I will never use advantage again!

the tech arrived at my residents promptly ,i explained my problem concerning my broke pipe beneath my sink and my clog he quickly began working to fix the problem and never stopped until he was finished. the work was excellent .i would recommend to anyone with a plumbing problem the you advantage. harold.goodrum

Well, I will start by saying I am not one to publicly criticize a company, but Advantage Service Co. has left me no choice. On 12/26/2014 they came out to replace the heat exchanger on my package unit. Within five hours the unit caught fire and blew smoke throughout my home. The unit was a total loss and my home received smoke damage and subsequently structural damage due to the lack of heat and single digit temperatures. Upon initial contact after the fire one of their managers told me that this was their fault and they would take care of it, but their story quickly changed after that. I spoke with the owner of the company who told me to contact my insurance company to handle the damages. They declined multiple request for a refund for the initial repair. I understand they have tried to cover their rear, but it is clear that this company will not take care of you in the event that they cause great stress and financial harm to you and your family.
