Bought a new 8 thousand dollar AC unit three weeks ago and it's now broken in this 100 degree weather. It's been almost a week now without air. I hear a part is being ordered but I don't know much else. I keep calling and leaving messages for various people. Some of them call back--some don't. The people seem nice enough but I just don't feel like there's someone there who is taking responsibility for this and providing good customer service and assuring me that it's a priority.
I have used this company exclusively since we moved into our home for plumbing and HVAC servicing. We have a yearly service contract and have been happy with our experiences for the past 3 years including any issues that popped up.
An issue was found during a routine service, the tech (Patrick) did a wonderful job identifying the problem, what was needed and even found that the part was under warranty. GREAT! Problems started with the repair. I have found several issues such as my unit not put together properly, a gas leak due to not tightening an area, missing oil drain caps and screws, and bending of main support frame. I went to contact the HVAC manager to remedy the quality of service received and has not returned my call at this time 12/4/19.
Edit 12/10/19: Talked with company manager today who will be sending a senior tech to investigate unit.
Edit 12/16/19: Manager called to inform me of senior tech (Patrick) and coworker’s (Randy)arrival time. Gentlemen were personable and heard my concerns. They remedied all issues with excellent customer service.
Advantage did a great job cleaning my ductwork/vents. On my project it was Ron, Matt, Dustin, Jonathan and Brandon. They all did a fantastic job. I Highly recommend for any HVAC needs.
We had a brand new hvac installed a few months ago. The first time we tried to use it, it wouldn’t stay on. They came out and there was an issue with safety switch. Fast forward to current- Sometime during the night our heat started cutting in and out. We called and a tech came out. The heat was on when he got here. He spent ten or so minutes looking around and said there was no issue and charged us $220. An hour later our heat went off again. He came back out and this time he checked the gas pressure on unit. It was higher than it was supposed to be (on a unit they installed a few months ago). Because of that it was running non stop and the safety switch was turning it off. The tech said “sometimes the preset gas pressure gets jostled during delivery”. Given that you would think we were refund our $200 right? No. We were charged an additional $175 for the second visit. Completely unacceptable. Do not use this company EVER. All they care about is making money off of you.

I used to deliver to them when I worked for a three letter work company later retired from them. Every time I had packages for them they were always nice to me, then my a/c at my house went out. Called them didn’t say a word about who I was just going to see how I would be treated. To my surprise they were the same friendly and nice and act like they wanted my business. They came out gave me a estimate and I got two or three more and a lot cheaper than the other estimates. Came out installed my new a/c unit outside and signed a agreement pre maintenance for summer and winter. That helped my unit to last longer but eventually things happened. I’ve been at my house for 19 years and the upper unit in my attic decided it had enough. We called got a estimate for a whole new system. They have a finance company just in case you don’t have all the money so we used them and with zero percent interest by the way! This new system is bad to the bone!!! Tells you how much humidity there is in the house and so many ways to program the system and more!! The outside unit is a third of the size of my old one and when it’s on you have no idea that it is on. I’m very pleased with the service, even after the installation, came with a unbelievable warranty!! House is cooler and my bill went down about $50- $75 a month difference!! I hope I helped out, I try my best!!!!

No one would show up and we could call asking why. They would say they didn't know. I'm honestly just perplexed. It's fine if you can't come out on time. Just give me a straight answer instead of leaving me hanging for days on end. Will not waste days of my time again.
Seth was our technician today and did an outstanding job! Seth was courteous and professional and I feel confident in his expertise. We have 3 properties (2 rentals and a primary home) and Advantage Service has been our service company for at least 6 years and we've only had great experiences! I would highly recommend them and Seth!
I was driving and had a car or so length between me and the car in front of me as you should. Their driver just comes out of nowhere and cut me off because he didn’t want to wait for a few other cars. Very unprofessional, a great way to be sure you never get new customers, and a great way to cause accidents.
I am very pleased with Brandon, the plumber that came out to fix the issue I was having with the water supply to my bathtub. He did a wonderful job and I didn't have to spend my life's savings. What a wonderful person, thank you Brandon. Advantage Services is the best, I highly recommend them.
