Ground Zero Plumbing & AC

Once again the quality at Ground Zero continues to shine. I called for my annual service, was greeted by a professional sounding person who quickly scheduled me for the same week - to my shock. The appointment was confirmed via text and email and before the technician came out I knew his name, his rating, and some about him. He did a very thorough check of the system, was clean, professional, picked up after himself and was very pleasant. I'm happy to have selected to partner with such a great company.

Sam and Clayton were great! They worked well together and got right down to business of replacing my air conditioner. I live in an apartment, so it’s important for people to be on time and show up. They covered both and I think were even early! Sam explained every step along the way, so I wasn’t surprised by anything. He took great care to make sure he isolated the working area and cleaned it up when he was done to the point of even wiping things down, thoroughly. It was hard to tell that he had even been there. I appreciated his attention to detail and the pride he took in his workmanship. They were both professional, respectful and good natured. It was important to them that the job was done right. Ground Zero was great installing my tankless water heater and running a water loop. Scott did a awesome job. Highly recommended.

Derek and Juan were very knowledgeable and quick. They asked about any troubles I had before and made sure to include them in their current checklist. I felt safe the whole time and not pressured to buy any maintenance replacements.

I called to inquire about getting a water heater replaced and a water softener installed. Fred came out right away and took a look for me at no charge and gave some great recommendations to plumb for the softener. He followed up with a written quote while I thought about it. I checked another place or two and found the quote was a good price.

I scheduled and they were very quick and accommodating. Stan and Mike came out and completed the job quickly, much faster than expected! They were very thorough and went above and beyond to hide and insulate my plumbing. A+! I'm very happy with the results. They buried the pipes and installed a new valve for me as well. Thanks guys!

I have only good things to say about Ground Zero, primarily due to the level of technicians they employ, as well as their friendly staff. I was in need of having both of my AC units replaced back in May of this year. The sales tech (Derek Franke) knew his stuff, took the time to explain things to me in detail...using jargon I could understand...definitely not your average smooth talking salesguy.

I was quoted a fair price, and when it came time to sign the deal...the final price was exactly as quoted (which is rare in today's world). Derek worked my install as well, taking the time to explain things to me when questions arose (and not making me feel dumb when asking). This guy is knowledgeable, knows his stuff and runs circles around many other AC company technicians that I have worked with in the past...the dude is good.

For anyone leery about doing business with an HVAC company, since our choices here in the valley are numerous, I can't blame you...I was there as well. Give Ground Zero a call, and if you're fortunate, as I was, Derek will be dispatched to assist you.

I've been using this company for several services and I'm always pleased by the quality of work and professionalism I've experienced. Most recently, I had them come to for my annual A/C cleaning and inspection. As usual, I was impressed by the thoroughness of the process. The technician had a great personality, and a willingness to provide me with a significant amount of helpful tips. Unfortunately, an error was made during that process, and by the next morning my A/C was no longer cooling. The receptionist who tried to assist in rescheduling a service call (I think her name was Lana?) was exceptional. She was diligent in trying to get something scheduled that evening, and when that didn't work out you could tell she truly felt badly. I was not going to be available until the following evening, but the original technician came out early the next morning to see if the problem could be fixed externally. It could not, but the company made sure that a technician was available for when I got home. Brad arrived and quickly went to work. In what seemed like no time at all, he assessed the situation, found the error, and got us up and cooling once again.

While I wish I hadn't had to deal with the extra stress, mistakes do happen. The commitment Ground Zero has for its customers was obvious and I continue to be impressed by the services they offer.

Update: Once again, Ground Zero did not disappoint. I've used this company several times for plumbing, electrical and HVAC. When I realized my A/C was not cooling I called on a Sunday morning and they arranged for service technician to come and check it out that day. Fred, like all the rest of the techs I have met, was fantastic. Polite, pleasant, but most of all quickly determined the problem . I never feel like this company is trying to up-sell service. In fact, Fred went out of his way to check online for coupons to further reduce the cost (I knew about them but it was nice to see him consider this on his own) Ground Zero always take time to try and find the lower cost repair options. Less than 12 hours after the HVAC problem began, my house was cooling, and the price was fair and reasonable.

Yet another update: there's a reason why I recommend this company and Derek proved that agin today. Our AC went out on a 3 digit day. Derek came out quickly, investigated and solved the problem in a snap. Another delightful experience with this company!

GroundZero is an extremely professional operation! I never have to wonder when they will arrive and who will be showing up. Every technician that has been been to my house has been polite, professional, and knowledgeable. That held true today when Derek Franke came to find out why my AC quit working. Derek was outstanding and took the time to explain what was wrong and all my options to fix the problem. I strongly recommend GroundZero!!

Ground Zero did a great job installing my AC. The installers were very knowledgeable and Reliable. I had a friend recommend them to me and they didn’t fail. I would highly recommend them.
