Our old air conditioner stopped working earlier this year when we had our first hot spell, so we shopped for a new one. We heard that Costco had/has a promotion and is working with the Thielmann Group to install the units.
We called Thielmann and Jason Peck came over on June 6 to talk about buying a new AC. He was very low-key, not pushy like Mad City, and we signed a contract to get a new unit.
The installers came to our home on June 20, in the morning, and the two guys plus the electrician were very professional. They took four hours to install the AC and explained everything for our satisfaction. They told us that our wifi thermostat, new at Christmas, was better than the one that came with the air conditioner, which was a Lennox.
We received a $832 e-Gift card from Costco which we can give to some of our kids who are not Costco members. Today, June 28, my wife was at the Menomonee Falls Costco store, and she talked to the Thielmann representative, who was talking with people about the Lennox promotion. and told her that our experience was wonderful.
From start to finish they were great. Provided us with a ton of information and helped us make an informed decision on which unit to choose. On the day of installation they were on time and completed the job quickly and we’re very friendly. Would recommend to anyone who needs A/C services.
We waited 25 years to install air conditioning. The Thielmann Group offered a seamless experience from the initial quote for the service, the installation, and the payment for the work. A big "thank you" because, it is not always cooler near the lake...but now it is!
We called Theilmann Group after our boiler stopped working and our normal company couldn’t get us into their schedule until the next day. Our indoor temperature had already dropped below 60 and couldn’t wait another day without heat. The person that took my appointment was able to make some calls and they were able to get someone to our house the same day. The technician found that even though we had an annual maintenance service done on our boiler (with another company), the flame sensor was very dirty and the technician was able to clean it and get our heat back on. There were some other issues with our thermostat as well. They were so accommodating and professional, we won’t hesitate to call them for service in the future and for our regular service going forward. Thank you for making getting our heat back on relatively painless!
Our new house was too tight (I had no idea this was even a thing!). We had water actually dripping down our windows from moisture when it was cold outside. We initially thought it was the windows, but we barely even need to run the heat. And our humidity was super high! We called around for a whole house humidifier. Thielmann Group told us the best thing we could do was to get an ERV system. They also installed a few returns in our basement. It wasn't cheap, but it was a very fair price and it has been HUGE for our house! We went from high humidity to 42% in ONE DAY. The windows weren't foggy and running. Since then humidity has gone down even more. We do not even need the other dehumidifiers that we had running 24/7. The ERV is energy efficient as well, and has its own thermostat. It took them about 6 hours, even with installing some returns for us. They left the house clean. I would highly recommend this team.
I am very impressed with Thielmann , the sales rep was very helpful and responsive to my questions and concerns . Their installation techs were on time , very professional , answered all of my questions and concerns, they did very high quality work and were very neat . So far I am very happy with my choice of Theilmann as my HVAC contractor . I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any type of residential HVAC work.
Out of two estimates for installation of a new AC unit- I spoke to a rep while at Costco, Theilmann came in substantially lower in cost and the unit was an upgrade from what was quoted by another company. the salesman as well as the installer were friendly, prompt and professional. Cannot yet rate the reliability of the product, but hoping for the best. We also had a furnace tune-up and he gave me his best estimate of the time line to have to replace some parts of our furnace, replaced our filter and gave me suggestions for the best filter and when they should be replaced. Cost was about $100 with the installation of the AC.
My wife and I are thrilled with the work that was done by the Roth / Thielmann team! From our first interactions with Dave, we felt like valued customers. He took as much time as we needed to explain all of the work that would be done to replace our dated and inefficient HVAC system. We never felt rushed at all. Our project started with a full duct cleaning. Troy & Aaron were on time, courteous and took the time to explain everything they were going to do. The before & after pictures showed their great work. We were told to plan for 4 hours, but the team completed it in about 2.5 hours. We are very happy with the outcome! The next morning, Blake & James arrived on time (actually a little earlier than expected) and got right to work. They communicated everything they were going to do and then did it. The installation looks great and the product works great. They took plenty of time to walk us through how our new smart thermostat works, too! The team also cleaned up after themselves. We later noticed a little bit of light coming in around where the new fresh air and exhaust pipes were installed. One quick call to Roth took care of that problem. John stopped over right away to caulk up the gaps and even fixed the caulking around the exhaust vent installed by a different company for our new water heater. John found a few areas that needed additional tidying up and did so. All in all, this was a great experience and we're far more comfortable now than we were before the work was done. I give the Roth/Thielmann team my highest recommendation and look forward to working with them for our annual maintenance needs going forward!
Had a very good experience with this company and would highly recommend them to friends and family. The only reason for removing a star was when they installed a new furnace and A/C they left pieces of the old system in my basement and did not fully clean up the space. As far as the installation and the product they installed, I could not be happier with the experience and product.
