Beacon Plumbing Heating & Mechanical

We are military and we are moving soon. While getting the house ready to sell, we noticed water damage in a closet that needed repair. Called Beacon on a Saturday and James came out and was able to find the leak, near the ceiling under a sink drain. It has been running down the drain and gathering at the base of the wall in our laundry room behind the washer and dryer and sink. James make repairs and put us in contact with Damage restoration. One week later, the replacement drywall is not up yet, and when I had tried to reattach my washer to the hook ups so our family of 5 could do the mountain of laundry gathering up, I noticed that the spigots were leaking into where the wall would have been. Once again, I called Beacon and they (Ronald? Robert? and another tech )replaced all of the faucets in my laundry room on a Saturday SAME DAY. Yes, it was spendy. However, it was an emergency repair that needed done on a schedule, so I knew it was gonna cost money. I am so grateful for Beacon Plumbing and their incredible response time. They did a great job, fast.

Ali Hall came out to our home just one hour after I called to schedule an appointment for an electrical issue we were having. He called when he was 30 min away and when he got here he walked us through our problem in simple to understand language that helped us to fully understand our issue and how to prevent problems in the future. Ali was extremely nice and a pleasure to work with! I will definitely call him in the future if an issue arises!

DO NOT USE! Horrible customer service by the management. The technician did a good job but the whole process was overshadowed by the lack of communication on what was happening. I had to constantly contact them for the next step to happen and it was only finalizing small items required by the inspection to get the final permit. It took almost 2 months to get it completed. I was also overcharged for permit fees and ended up paying for them directly but was not refunded the amount charged. I also ended up paying additional costs since they wouldn't answer messages. I have filed a complaint with BBB, which several customers have also done. I don't believe that I have ever experienced worse customer service. Please find a better company to give your money to.

BEWARE.
This company will scam you and charge you triple what a normal rate is, when you're in a desperate situation and needing urgent work.
We called for a simple piping job for our kitchen sink. The quote we were expecting was between $100-$200...... Beacon came out and quoted us $700 for what would be a 30 minute job.
When we declined their services, the employee on shift refused to leave my kitchen until we paid their "service fee" for coming out and quoting us.
We are renters, and I explained that I needed to get my landlord on the phone because she would be the one taking care of the "service fee". Instead of being patient and understanding, this employee was rude and snarky.
I am 6 months pregnant and needed a minute to call my landlord. The amount of unprofessionalism and disrespect shown by employees of Beacon Plumbing, in my own home, is infuriating.
We will NEVER use their services, and I hope after reading this, you choose not to too.

PS: We were able to resolve the plumbing ourselves after a simple run to Home Depot and $35 in parts.......

Completely Satisfied!! Preston was exactly on time and gave a heads up call before coming. It was a kitchen faucet swap, done quickly and with no problems, no mess, and a great price. At no extra cost he took the time to show me options and even recaulked the sink. Highly recommend….

I am converting my tub shower combo into a walk in shower. I needed to move my drain to accommodate the walk in shower as well as move the faucet higher. I had several other plumbing companies come out and quote me and they were crazy high. I had Beacon come out and I was assigned Eric C. He went above and beyond, provided amazing service. Answered all my questions (even after he left my house) and put me at ease! I am blown away. For sure going to be having Eric C out again! Not other company compares!!

Quick and easy replace of our garbage disposal, Jesus and Liam were on time and had it taken care of the same day I called for an appointment! This isn’t the first time we have used beacon plumping and we will happily use them again if/when needed

Brent and Isaiah were great to work with they kept me informed of what was needed gave helpful advise for the future they both went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right the first time. I will definitely use beacon plumbing again i the future if needed

Called them to come look at a leak and they’ll charge you 75$ just to come out. Our tech Sean “Looked” at the leak and said there were 3-4 leaks. Patched up the three leaks that night and was charged 1200$. Came back the next day to do the other leak because apparently he didn’t have that pipe w/him.
The next day he came back, “fixed” the remaining leak.
After fixing the last leak he tells us that there’s more leaks and that the whole piping in the crawl space need to be replaced which was easily $8k.
They will take advantage of your situation and hustle you. Definitely do not recommend.

Beacon finished repairs to my rental sewer pump system after old pumps failed. I contacted several local providers, but it was Beacon that agreed to respond immediately. I totally appreciate this prompt service and the repairs they did.

My satisfaction ends there. In the rush to begin repairs the technicians were vague about the cost and did not provide any paperwork showing work to be performed. Before work ceased the first evening, Beacon requested a large deposit. I again asked what the repairs would cost.

Charges for the work performed were exorbitant, but Beacon fixed the problem. Today they sent me a detailed invoice and asked me to sign it, in effect saying they had performed in accordance with their pre-job estimate. I notified them that I would not sign at this time.

If you hire Beacon be prepared to pay a bill much bigger than you can imagine. They are nice professional people, but they make sure you pay for this treatment.

Would I use Freakin Beacon again? Not if I could come up with any other choice. I had no choice, and they knew it.
