If you feel like paying $942 for an hour's work of drain unclogging and "moving a garbage disposal to other side" for some arbitrary reason, then go with these guys. Or, get a second opinion and find someone considerably cheaper who will likely provide considerably better service without the price gouging. We were rushed to get our pipe issue fixed for the holidays and got stuck with these guys..next time we'll know better.

Update! We called Beacon Plumbing the day after our service and they refuse to refund any of our money. Their stance is basically "that is our pricing, too bad!". Don't call Beacon Plumbing unless you have a spare $1,000!!

Here is what happened to us: We called Beacon Plumbing at 10:00pm because our toilet had a complete clog and would not flush (we only have one bathroom). They told us over the phone $100 to respond but could not give us a full quote until they arrived. Shortly before midnight they arrived and gave us the shocking news it would cost $1,000 to just unbolt the toilet and run the snake down the line to clear the clog. We feel this company preys on consumers in desperate situations like ours. Pull the toilet, run a snake down the line and unclog some toilet paper and it cost us $1057.00!!! Took less than an hour and the technician was rude (his response to our anger was "You signed up for this not me!" Unless you have a spare $1,000 don't call Beacon!! We were left with the decision at midnight to say no and be stuck with no way to use the bathroom or to give in to their giant pricing!

If we had it to do all over again, we would have gone and rented a hotel room and called a reasonable plumber the following day!

I just got home from the hospital after a recent surgery, when I discovered a leak in our crawl space. I called at 830PM and the tech arrived by 10PM. The technician, Ismael, was exceptionally professional, knew exactly what was needed and turned an evening of worry into one of relief. Beacon Plumbing can be very proud of him, his skills and most importantly his customer service. I will always call them for my plumbing issues and will ask for this excellent young man!

Beacon plumbing charged over double what others charge for a hydro jet. After showing up late and overcharging for a septic system pump out, they then sold me an upcharge to hydro jet the plugged line to the house. It was exactly 10 Feet and they charged me $1200! I called my normal plumber on Monday and he charges $675 to jet the whole system/field which might take a couple of hours. Another outfit charges $250 an hour with a typical 2-3 hours to clean out a whole system/field. Beacon was done with my 10 feet in less than 30 minutes and charged $1200. I believe they are a big rip off company and are probably no better than SouthWorst plumbing.
Oh, when I brought this billing to their attention, they offered me $50 off my next service – Like that makes up for a $600 overcharge! Next service… that will NEVER happen.
I am a landlord of multiple single family homes and I would recommend Aardvark plumbing in Tacoma if you can get it done M-F or O’Neils in Seattle any time. I have always got great service at a great price from both of them.

Had a problem, Mr. Mat 205771
Came in a timely manner, earlier than expected and still gave us a call with plenty of time to be there. Very friendly, very helpful, and definitely worked very hard fixing our area underneath the house, and installed a full gig for our sump pump. I definitely will be calling back if I have any problems.

Beacon plumbing is the best in the plumbing business. Steve and Shawn are highly recommended by me. They fix and change my old and leaking home water tank. Price that we paid for is reasonable due to the level of work that needs to be done and considering it was an emergent situation for me.

Called and informed the lady scheduling the service that I wanted to replace my old tank and upgrade to tankless and add a gas line for a stove. When they came to my home he believed I only wanted to replace my old water heater. Not tankless, no additional gas line. When I saw the quoted price I asked why it was going to be so expensive, and I was told, "that's what it costs".

Brent C. and Kyle had to make a repeat trip to my home to repair what I thought was a leak from the shutoff valve that they had replaced the previous evening. It turned out that the problem was a leak from the shutoff valve directly above it.

They fixed the new problem and they were pleasant and professional even before they realized that it was a new problem.

Again, these guys are the best!

My original review is under Seattle.

Our pipe broke and Jesus and Ruben from Beacon plumbing came right away and fixed it. They were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone needing an excellent plumber. They also told us names of companies to remove the standing water under our house from the pipe breaking and explained the standing water is probably covered by our home owners insurance. Great job. 5 plus stars to Beacon plumbing and Jesus and Ruben.

5 Stars!!! for Matt! Called after hours on this past Xmas eve due to sewage backing up into house from septic. While I couldn't afford emergency service at that time, Matt gave me tons of advice on what to do/check and sure enough figured out which tank had the issue, unplugged the line and we were back in business for Xmas! Matt got yelled at by the main office for not taking the call and charging us, but in the true spirit of Xmas, he answered my questions and even called back of his own accord twice to see how things were going! Above and beyond for sure!!! Thanks Matt!
