We had what we thought was a HUGE failure with our system and Ethan showed up quickly. Immediately, he got to the root of our problems after running some diagnostics and tests. I was very impressed with his knowledge and skills to have come up with a solution to replacing minimal equipment but also some small intricate devices that had went out. Very helpful and polite will call again. Thanks !

The tech was great when he showed up and was honest but the follow up after has been ridiculous sales never showed up for their appointment and now just trying to get a copy of a diagnostic report for our insurance to cover fixing the unit has been an impossible task for them to handle. It been almost 3 weeks still no A/C or report even after calling everyday for the last 5. And after seeing there prices and talking with friends in the industry I'd call someone else unless you enjoy throwing money away.

Update: to the response yes I did say I need to speak with my wife as she was on speaker phone out of town for work and wanted to go over everything in person. So we scheduled with your SALESMAN 1030 that Friday he never came and we never received a call. We did finally get the information we've been requesting yesterday 6/28 after both of us calling multiple times a day and having to threaten to come in person. The only saving grace has been the tech who just today happened to be down the road and stopped to check in with us and is attempting to make things right so I don't have to start all over with another company just so my insurance can move along with their job. And I wouldn't try calling a customer out without all the correct details.

Lamont was very courteous and knowledgeable. He performed a thorough inspection and maintenance of our two gas furnaces and a/c units. He pointed out three issues that may warrant follow up repair parts and service.
No immediate need for repair, but we are alerted to areas of concern.
Lamont scheduled an appointment with a CA person to meet with us to review options to repair or replace the 16 year old furnace.
I would recommend Lamont for HVAC maintenance and analysis.

I am a scardy cat and won’t go down in my crawl space where my furnace is located. So rather than let me figure it out he went the extra mile. Thank you Lamont and Cougar Mechanical!! Alban was on time, professional, and thorough. He checked out our heat and A/C units and explained everything clearly without being rushed. He pointed out a piece of equipment that will probably end up failing soon. He told us about the process to replace and encouraged that we do that, but without the hard sell. All of this for a very reasonable service fee. Highly recommend!

I am not sure how this company has such a high rating. I made an appointment for a tune up for my A/C and Furnace. The day of the appointment, no show and never received a call. I called a few days later they said so sorry the local office will call you back right away, of course no call. I called a few days later and scheduled another appointment. 15 minutes prior to that appointment I got a call to cancel and reschedule because someone had called in sick. So I agreed to this coming Monday and I get a call today to cancel my appointment on Monday which was my third appointment and they want to make a 4th. I asked why is it so easy to cancel my appointments, he tells me I am going to be honest with the heat wave this weekend we are prioritizing people who don’t have working a/c. Well I don’t call 75 degrees a heatwave, I think it is more likely my appointment is only $58 dollars and a non working unit will bag some real money. So they got off the phone without even giving me a new day and time. Well I live on the 5 mile prairie and I am going to make sure I inform all the residents up here to stay away from this company and I suggest anyone ready this to stay away from them as well. They don’t respect a person’s time, not even that of a disabled veteran.

Was told they would be arriving Monday morning at 8 am for a brand new furnace install and ac unit. 8 am came and went waited to give time like any respectful person would. 10 am came and went with no call. 11 am I called the office to talk to owner after the girl answered she asked what it was regarding I told her customer service she said please hold. The girl got back on the phone and said he was unavailable and wanted to know if she could help and I said please tell me why their crew wasn’t at our house to do the install. We also have a business and work from home which I explained to the sales guy and we have a schedule and good service is very important. She put me on hold once again and said their crew would be finishing a job and be by later which I responded by asking if anyone uses a phone to communicate. She had no answer. At 2 pm a guy showed up in his personal truck with what looked like an ac unit in the back of his truck and knocked on the door and said he was here to put a furnace in our home as I replied I don’t think so as I am waiting for a call from the owner. He responded that he would wait outside and I said it could be some time as I had been waiting for a call back from the owner since 11 am and still hasn’t heard anything. The owner never called maybe cause the girl never told him of the call. The salesman was called also that day which he never responded until there was 4 crew members and two vehicles in front of our house. Don’t give these people your money or your time. Don’t read the reviews on there website read them on yelp or other places. It’s sad how company’s treat people these days. It all could have been fixed with a simple call. I asked the guy that came to the door if his phone was broke as he replied no. He asked if the office called and I said no. It’s always he say she say. I did service for a company for 30 years and never did I treat people this way. People just wanna know what’s going on. Must be doing ok if you can piss away and 18000$ job. Do your research Good luck
