I should preface this poor review by saying it frustrates me to write this. I had Air Control install a complete duct system and furnace in my old craftsman home without prior ductwork. The competed the work in July of 2017. I was quite pleased with the price and service as it was a big and complex job.

However, since that time, I have been frustrated as a customer on two separate occasions.

1- I had some additional duct work done in early 2018. I asked for a mailed invoice after completed work and it never arrived. As time passed it escaped my radar. In early 2019, I received a notice of a past due invoice. I called the billing department and explained I had never received a mailed copy so hence didn’t pay the bill. Being a year later, I had no way to validate the time or charges so the total bill was their word without any way for me to validate charges. They assured me that they were being fair and it was their fault for missing the invoice for a year. I payed the invoice. Red flag 1.

2- this spring, I invited them to provide a estimate for a ductless heat pump system in my new garage. The estimator arrives and all was well. In the subsequent months, I left 3 voicemails with him and two notes with the office staff. No follow up or call. I never did receive an estimate of any kind. The excuse given was “email issues”. On the final call, I spoke with the estimator himself and he promised an estimate by the end of the business day. It never arrived.

It appears perhaps the company is poorly managed without a focus in follow up or customer service. It’s a shame. I liked them, but there are many other HVAC providers in Spokane. So I will pass. I wish them well.

I had picked up new filter for my gas furnace that they put in and I couldn't figure out how to get them in so they came out and showed me how to do it and then they showed me how to reprogram the thermostat. And they also brought me three extra filters so now I have four sitting in my shed and the other one is in the furnace. Great job guys I would recommend you to anybody in fact I'm trying to recommend you to somebody that lives here too. Thanks again Nancy Howe

I highly recommend this company they are very professional and friendly! My home had never had a furnace only old baseboard heaters the team at air control did a wonderful job designing the ductwork that needed to be added so that it didn't damage my home ! The installation was fast and they worked with my schedule! I had three other estimates from other companies and Gary was able to beat them all with providing me a top-of-the-line furnace. As a single mom it meant a lot to me to know I had someone I could completely trust that would not do wrong by me ! Also Angel assisted me with all the paper work

I have an older farmhouse that was built around 1890. It did not have central heat or air, so I decided to have a system installed. I had several companies out to provide bids, but they all told me that it could not be done with one unit. They told me that because of the way the house was constructed, I had to have 2 separate units with two thermostats, in order for all of the rooms in the house to be provided with central heat and air conditioning. Max Johnston from Air Control came out and engineered a really great heating and air-conditioning system with a heat pump and he engineered it with just one unit. This was a few years ago, and I am still really delighted with it. The heat pump saves a ton of money and the unit is really powerful. It stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Since then, I have had routine maintenance and the crew at Air Control is professional, competent and thorough. I would very highly recommend them.

Highly recommended this electric company!! We had Air Control come out when one of our outlets started smoking. We called them when they opened, and they were available same day. They charge by the hour but the electrician was VERY time conscious and kept updating me on what he was doing, how much it would cost for parts and how long it would take. Very friendly and easy to work with. When I need an electrician in the future they will be who I call.

My home warranty through American Home Shield called out Doug from Air Control Heating and Electric, and I could not have been more impressed. Doug was as Friendly and Professional as he was Competent and Efficient. Doug was very friendly, not condescending about explaining his work, but never let the conversation slow his work. He stepped out of his van, and was trouble shooting within a minute, and very efficiently eliminated a whole series of possible problems until he identified the issue, and then quickly made the repair.
I would absolutely recommend Doug for any AC service. In fact, I plan to call Air Control back and ask for Doug to do some additional (non-home warranty) work.

Our AC decided to act up during the hottest week recorded. We contacted Air Control and were able to get a same day appointment. Mike came out and was able to get the problem fixed in under an hour and it's now running better than it ever has. Very satisfied with the service and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for service on their AC.

We had 3 other bids and were about to go with one of them. I saw an Air Control truck in our neighborhood and called them. They came in and saved us over $800 and we received a 10 year warranty. They called us to schedule the first warranty maintenance. We used them at our mother's house. They went out and fixed the problem. There was a call back. They did not charge us for the call back. We have been very happy with them.

I want to say that Chris and Eric were outstanding in upgrading my electrical panel. They were very knowledgeable and efficient in completing the job in a short amount of time. Air Control was very reasonable in thier bids and didn't add on any unexpected charges. Both myself and my wife were very happy with them and will be calling them in the future for any other electicals jobs we might have.
