Well after five years on the second installation after receiving the incorrect system we now have a blower mower. failure on our Rheem system. We had to have a ream specialist come out and have the motor replaced. They found while replacing the motor that a sealant for the hood over the top of it that was used on the install drip onto the blower fan which made it out of balance which took out the motor after five years.
Not happy customer. Nor will I ever be a customer of theirs again.
Now another issue. 6/21/2023 We noticed that we were not getting any heating or cooling out of the register that they installed in our primary bathroom today. It looks to have come apart. In picture number three there is nothing attached to the duck tub. I see is the black plastic under the house.
Nick and Gram were amazing installers! They answered all my questions, worked quickly, and showed wonderful professionalism. They were even extra careful to protect our carpet while walking in and out of the house. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
First of all, these guys scam you at the most vulnerable time. They would install a parts that takes 5 mins for ~10x the price of what the parts are sold ($60 parts for $550). They refused to refund and when I tried to change the payment method, I called 2 weeks straight and they have not made that happen for 2 weeks. Everyday, they say someone will call back and never received one. I will be happy to edit the review if they reach back out for a change.
Extremely unsafe and rude. One of their drivers cut me off on I-5. I had to slam my brakes to avoid being hit/side swiped. They thought it was funny. This says everything about their character/ethics.
i've been a Blue Flame customer for about 12 years. they're always very professional very polite very competent and on time. whenever there have been issues they have worked hard to take care of them and make me happy. I wouldn't use anybody else.
Updated review 5/15: the fantastic customer support/service manager, Emily, ran our issue up the chain and determined our unit was a lemon and replaced the full heat pump unit at no cost to us after it died within a two year period. They stand by their 100% satisfaction pledge and I highly recommend working with them for your AC installation. I also really appreciate that they have a human answering the phone and making sure you are connected to the right person everytime you call. If that person isn't in, they are prompt to have that person call you back, very responsive to any questions they can answer and always extremely kind. Thank you Blue Flame!!!
Blue Flame is good at communications. I received both an email and a text informing me that the technician was on the way. I scheduled the appointment less than a week ago. The technician, Ernest, was professional and friendly. He let me know what he was doing as he worked. We’ve used Blue Flame for years. They installed our new furnace three years ago, and they’ve always provided excellent service.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I have a condo in Seattle. I live in Portland. I contacted them a month ago and set up an appointment for them to meet me to assess the feasibility of putting in a ductless mini-split. They had my address in Seattle. I emailed them on Tuesday to confirm the appointment. They didn't contact me until Thursday. The woman asked me a few questions and then said their person could not come due to a family emergency. She asked if we could schedule for Saturday. I asked if she could reschedule someone else since I made the appointment a month ago. And i was leaving on Sunday. She then contacted me via text saying her manager said no and that they didn't have the necessary equipment. Huh? Puzzling as all I needed was a quote. Then she said they looked at my condo on line and since it was 4 stories, I needed a commercial installer and they don't do those. I would never recommend this place. I was basically lied to twice (famiky emergency and lack of equipment) and how unprofessional to not do the homework on my building the day before they were to come. The other two contractors replied immediately to my email reminders. And obviously asked the right questions and did their homework. I did tell Blue Flame it was a 4 story building when I made the appointment. If I had known this prior to driving to Seattle, I could have booked with another company.
Do not believe the negative reviews about them. They gave me the correct diagnostic and fixed the issue the same day and honored the relationship with the brand warranty. Where as another hvac company in the northend tried to get over on me. these guys where honest and knowledgeable . Cesar Vazquez got straight to it and fixed it right the first time. Thanks blueflame my kids and I are grateful for the knowledge and customer service displayed today !
Patrick and Avery were terrific! They installed our new AC and it looks great. Very professional and personable. My puppy loves Avery more than me now, so he won’t be invited back. Thanks for the outstanding service!
