Rich Vulliet promptly responded to my request for an estimate and was courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. When it was time for the install, there was a last minute cancellation and he texted to see if we could take an early installation, which we could. His crew arrived 1/2 hour early and was easy to work with, fast, clean and sharp. They even went the extra mile and helped me square away some additional details not normally handled by the field service team! Bravo, gents!

Full disclosure: I’ve known Rich and some of his team for about two decades. He installed the previous furnace that his team replaced and I wouldn’t think of working with anyone else for this magnitude of a purchase and service contract. He even did a full install (with new ducting that wasn’t previously in the house) at our son’s house last Fall. We recommend him and the team at Energy Works unreservedly!

We had an outstanding experience with Energy Works and the people who work there. We encountered a problem with our 2-year-old mini-split system, which broke down during snowy weather, leaving us without a heater. Scheduling a diagnosis with Energy Works was both easy and quick, and from the moment we reached out to them, we received nothing but excellent service.

However, we did experience some difficulty with our insurance provider in getting our claim approved, which led to a bit of a delay in the process. Despite this, Energy Work's project manager, John, went above and beyond to assist us in resolving the issue with our insurance. John was incredibly patient and accommodating, allowing us the time we needed to resolve the claim with our insurance provider while keeping his promises and delivering excellent service throughout the process.

Not only John but also the two technicians who came out to fix the system, Isaiah and Riley, were fantastic. They were extremely knowledgeable and skilled in their work and went out of their way to provide us with informative, kind, and friendly service. They were willing to work with us to ensure that our system was properly fixed and up and running again in no time.

Overall, we highly recommend Energy Works for its reliability, excellent service, and outstanding people. We plan to have regular maintenance done with them moving forward, and we're confident that they will continue to exceed our expectations with their excellent service.

Our experience with Energy Works was very professional, informative and gracious from start to finish. Ken Norton walked us through the different options/pros and cons for heat pump, new gas furnace, air conditioning. It’s complicated and because Ken is very knowledgeable with years of experience, we were able to make an informed decision. We decided on a new higher efficiency gas furnace which was the lesser expensive option but met our needs. So no high pressure selling by Ken! Kira our contact at the office was so gracious and as a first point of contact so important to our experience. Installation techs crew Marq, Clay, Lukas and Nathan were professional, efficient and kind. It takes skill and experience which we respect and value. An unexpected 3rd party part malfunction was taken care of by John, one of the owners, promptly dispatching Nathan. That’s how you know great service.

Be aware of all the fake reviews as they mostly have few reviews or never reviewed at all which is obviously to be FAKE!

I had initially canceled appointments with three different companies because I was impressed by this company's perfect 5-star reviews. However, my disappointment grew when they called me just two hours before the scheduled appointment to inform me that it was canceled. This means I'll have to wait another week for other companies to come and provide a quote. I find this level of service to be extremely unacceptable.
Then… they came then this happened
I also want to mention that I had sent them an email but never received a response. Instead, I had to make multiple phone calls to get any sort of communication from them. This lack of responsiveness added to my frustration.

Furthermore, their pricing was exorbitant. The unit itself costs around $5,000 or less, yet they charge at least $15,000 for installation. I am baffled by how they came up with such inflated numbers. It seems completely unjustifiable and unreasonable.

These additional issues only serve to reinforce my negative experience with this company. I definitely do not recommend them neither I support the reviews mentioned here! Be aware!!

Energy Works came out for a service call on a unit that would not run, they had the correct information and reference material to get this unit not only started but did software upgrades and troubleshoot all error codes to get the unit function at optimum performance. The level of professionalism was outstanding as well as the service.
Call them for your Heating and cooling install on the front end.

Energy Works was one of three HVAC companies we received bids from for a new system. Ken Norton spent a great deal time at our house, making suggestions and determining how best to get what we wanted. He also patiently took our calls as we weighed our options and made our decision. The installation was scheduled less than a week after we signed the contract. The installation team (Syd, Garrett and Christian) were great and spent 2 days setting up the new furnace, heat pump & thermostat. It was snowing when they arrived on day 1 and they provided us with space heaters while they dismantled our furnace and installed the new one. The installation proved to be more challenging than they anticipated requiring them to stay quite late both days to make sure we were good to go. We were very impressed by their focus and professionalism. Electrician James and his apprentice Gabriel came on a 3rd day and did a fabulous job. Lastly, Nathan provided outstanding customer service programming the thermostat and training us on the operation. He answered our questions and made sure we had the app on our phones and all set before he left. We have been impressed by the entire team, every interaction we have had with the folks at Energy Works.

Isaiah very thorough and provided nice report on hvac system condition. Explained things well. This company does not oversell like many in this industry. They do the work and fix your problem.

We have had Energy Works install a new heat pump system in our house and provide all of the system maintenance. They are knowledgeable, friendly and do excellent work. Recently we had a system failure and were without heat on a cold winter day; Energy Works had a service technician out to diagnose and address the problem within a few hours of notifying them. We couldn't have asked for better response.

After spending over 2-hours helping us think through our options for new heating and possibly air conditioning, we agreed to a plan. It was cold and our old furnace had broken down. Within 2-days Mark, Garrett, and Lucas brought our new furnace and spent the day installing it, then testing it thoroughly. They were accommodating and also checked all our ducts to see that the heat was travelling right. All day they were open to questions and problem solving. I was reassured and felt great confidence in their quality of work. The outcome is amazing. Our older home is warm in the dead of winter like we have never had before. Thank you!

I recently had Riley from Energyworks come to repair my furnace after it stopped working on one of the coldest days of the year. Riley was knowledgeable, professional and thorough and was able to get my furnace up and running. Riley was great and I would definitely recommend.
