We had a great experience from the salesman Greg to the installers Parker and Manny. Greg came in and explained everything that we needed with no high pressure sales pitch. He was very professional and personable. Parker and Manny showed up as scheduled and went to work taking out our old system and installing the new system. Any questions we had Parker explained everything in terms we could understand.

Bernadette spoke with my wife from scheduling Greg to talk with us, to calling to confirm the time that the installers would be hear, and follow up to make sure we were happy with everything.

We would highly recommend Black Lion Heating and Air Conditioning to everyone.

Had our heater and AC installed by Black Lion. Everything looked fine. After first annual tune-up, they sold us pre-paid twice annual tune-up with some discount and informed us they would call and schedule. 1st time when service was due, no call, I was told they "forgot us". 2nd time, they did call, but showed up saying they no longer do same thing as contracted, and required $40 additional for my prepaid service, otherwise tune-up can't be done. I didn't have time, so pay them out and let them go.
Now as we just received heavy rain, some flex duct in crawl space fell off. We called Black Lion who sound very considerate this time, saying they will send out sb to do tune up and at the same time take a look what's the problem so we only need to pay tune-up. Technician showed up, only opened our crawl space, gave us a quote for crawl space flex duct repair, no tune-up was done as scheduled. We then scheduled a crawl space flex duct appointment, communicated with Black Lion two times before appointment to make sure work condition is workable for them (weather and water). one hour before our schedule, I was told a cancellation by Black Lion. BL mentioned they may fix the flex duct (heater) in spring. I told them that's not acceptable, and even the tune-up I paid was not done and requested a refund. Now waiting for BL's response. My flex duct project was now scheduled with another company to come in two days.

Black Lion overhauled and replaced an efficient and basic furnace with a complete variable speed heat pump, furnace, and air filter. The system had to fit in a very tight mechanical room in an occupied home. The crew did a great job fabricating and installing all of the equipment. And, the new thermostat and configuration were much more involved to program. There was also a lot of follow up to get things tweaked and keep us happy. The crew did a fantastic job and we are very pleased!

Our creaky old gas furnace gave up the ghost, so I found Black Lion on Angie’s List. I called, explained the problem, and a courteous woman set an appointment for the next morning for an inspection. The tech was on time, pleasant, and we set an appointment for the next morning to install a new furnace and thermostat. The installers, Darrius and Jacob, were quiet and efficient. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. I would happily recommend Black Lion to a friend.

From start to finish this company was great and up front, I am in the customer service field myself, they walk the talk and was given all the info needed to make a wise choice on units. I choice their top of the line unit and I am super impressed. Home depot makes the deal better by paring with this company and has your back if any problems. The install crew where great and respectful about my house and leaving it clean. Give them a try!

I bought a water heater from Black Lion last year, found them on Angie’s List. Just had the first annual maintenance that comes with the original water heater package. Both the installation and service were on time and done professionally. The service guy Mark took time to explain potential problems with our furnace and best pratices for maintaining the furnace and water heater. We purchased their annual maintenance as a result. Their price wasn’t the lowest but it seems fair to pay a little premium for the quality.

Had heater problems develop offer the cold weekend. I called Black Lion at 8:00 AM and had a guy at my house by 10:00 AM and repairs completed by 11:00. Technician was very personable, he competed the work quickly, and overall a very positive experience.

Would recommend, and already have done so.

We've had Black Lion out a couple of times to maintain our furnace. Both men were professionals who were friendly and efficient. This last time, Everett was our service tech and on top of being informative and approachable, he also was able to win over our slightly shy kiddos. They love the fuzzy little black lion stuffed animals, too!

The warranty on the work is fantastic and the staff are great. Had furnace repair turn into furnace replacement. They were able to reproduce the issue and diagnose effectively. Friendly and social and they let me pepper them with questions. It was evident from more than their words that they enjoy their work. I appreciate they don’t lose sight of the purpose: heat and cooling for their customers!
