Black Lion Heating & Air Conditioning

We hired Black Lion for a $16K full HVAC system replacement. After installation they ghosted us, and left us with a faulty system and non-functional heat pump. No one returns our calls, and the one time we got someone on the phone they scheduled a tech that never showed up. Terrible and unethical company.

I have to give a big shout out to Isaac at Black Lion for our yearly maintenance. He is the reason we have been loyal customers and will continue to use Black Lion for all our AC/Heating needs. His expertise, honesty and great customer service are why we love this company. We always feel taken care of and never feel they are trying to upsell or promote something we don't need. Thank you, again, Black Lion, for hiring wonderful, highly skilled employees that uphold your company's standards.

Black lion was amazing to work with. I had a situation that needed to be resolved quickly for a tenant with a new baby, and they went out of their way to help. From Irene in the office helping me with scheduling, to the tech who went to my home to address the issue, they get 5 stars all the way around. I setup an appointment with them and nobody showed up. I called them and they said they not no record of that. Gave me a new appointment. Tech said that the Freon needs to be added and quoted R410A Freon about $400 PER POUND, which is insane, that's a 20x markup to wholesale price. I asked him to send me the Freon pressure values he measured. He said he would send them via email and that didn't happen either. Total scam.

Both Chris and Jack the installers were so professional quite knowledgeable and did a great job. I feel very confident that the installation was done properly and they took time to go over details and answered questions we had , but what made me feel good was warranty that Black Lion Heating provides for a low fee annually to maintain my new Bryant air conditioning unit after initial 1st year no cost service. I had 3 bids from contractors but right at the beginning when Jason came out to quote me I felt comfortable and at ease with Black Lion. Great Job!!!!

We had a great experience with Black Lion. Jason came out and evaluated our current heating system, took the time to explain all of our options and provided us with several different furnace/heat pump options. Lynai, in the office was great to work with, she coordinated all of the payment details with our lender and was able to get our installation promptly scheduled. The installation crew arrived on time, and worked well into the evening to ensure our installation was completed same day. They took the time to go over the new system with us and ensure we were satisfied with the job. Highly recommend them!

a few years ago they installed my HVAC unit and provided annual maintenance as a preferred customer agreement. Each year I called to get a maintenance service date. this year I called on May 16th and the earliest they could do the service was August 5th. I took the appointment. Today is August 5th, they are a no show and don't have me on the schedule. They also don't have a manager or owner to speak to. This ridiculous.

The guy that came today (Nick) was great --- clear, efficient, talking to him gave me a lot of confidence that he knew just what he was about.
We've had Black Lion service our furnace & heat pump for a few years now and have been happy with all of the techs that they've sent out. When I ask them about really anything it's clear that they really know their stuff. Very satisfied --- recommended.

I had Black Lion install a new AC unit last year and they were great. I got five bids and while they were not the lowest they were very professional, arrived on time and finished in one day. They did a great job.
I bought the annual maintenance plan and they've come out twice since. They checked the furnace last fall and the AC unit this spring. They were not pushy when they advised me the motor in my furnace needed to be replaced. I'm going to have Black Lion replace it.
I would highly recommend Black Lion.
