Jake the electrician did an amazing job, he troubleshoot everything and was able to fix our issues. He was a extremely stand up guy, very personable, profesional and responsible. Cannot recommend him enough!

I was super disappointed when my regular furnace technician retired 😕. I totally understand, you can’t work forever. Any who, I am assuming that he sold his phone number to Black Lion. Because when I called his number, Black Lion answered. I was pleased with the quoted price and agreed for them to came out and service my furnace. After everything was said and done. The service experience was worth it. Charges were communicated clearly before agreed to. The technician was seasoned and well put together. 5 stars all around. 👏🤘🕺🏼✌️❤️🙂

Nick was great! He showed up on time and was extremely helpful and honest. I had booked the appointment because I purchased a smart thermostat that needed four wires (I only have two). Nick mentioned the thermostat I had was one he often replaced or had issues. So, instead he installed a programmable thermostat he had on hand and it didn’t require new wiring. He was quick to install it and set it up, explaining everything along the way. I would definitely recommend Black Lion!

Our experience getting a new furnace and AC from Black Lion was great!

Greg came out to do our onsite estimate, he was on time and quick, walking me through our options and leaving me with some booklets highlighting some key differences between the units. I did have to wait a little while to get my quotes, but that was because they had just rolled over to a new software and they were on Day 1 of using it, so I'm not going to fault him for that. When I called asking for the quotes, I received them soon after, and they were very reasonably priced! He also called me to walk through the details of the quote, to confirm if I had any questions. We got our furnace and AC in early March, and there were a lot of discounts applied as it was off-season, so the price was extremely competitive. We were also offered an option to do a 6-month no interest finance plan, which is always a plus.

The install was also easy and painless. They were able to come out less than a week after I signed the contract, on the day that I requested. The work took a while (probably 5 hours total) as they were removing a 44 year old furnace, and bringing the entire space up to code. The installation team was very friendly, and as promised there was no smoking onsite, and the team was very polite and professional. They performed the work efficiently and even assisted us in making a good choice on where to place our AC.

Black Lion's head office also handled all of the paperwork with getting a permit for the AC, and also handled the PSE rebate on our behalf. It really helped alleviate some of the frustrating painpoints of making modifications to your home.

So far we have really enjoyed our furnace and AC and have had no issues with either. They are both green models that have low environmental impact, so I feel good about our purchase!

Had them out to service my Mom's furnace. They made it out timely, The tech took his time, and made my mom feel very comfortable. The customer service is fantastic. Nick did a great job working with my mom (who is aging), to figure out the best course of action for fixing her furnace. Plus the summer discount was helpful. Get your furnace checked before it breaks - these guys are great!

Well, I called them for service, screwed up my furnace and furnace stopped working. Now I call them for the second visit to fix the furnace, wait time is 2 weeks, was without heater for 2 weeks. The second person comes, changes the source to Heat pump. Now after a month I realize my electricity bill shot up by $200. Now I call them, again 2 weeks of wait and I have to pay for the mistake they made over my electricity bill. Awful service!!

Global warming is a reality and even in Seattle we decided this year to install Central AC in our Bellevue home. After meeting 4 companies Black lion proved to be the best on paper, then it was confirmed by a seamless installation, with a crew that did everything to make me happy (including a more tricky path for the electrical part of the job so the front of the house would be preserved, at no extra cost). We now signed a maintenance contract with them and yesterday was the first visit. As the rest it was perfect. A special mention to the admin team who is also pleasant to work with and efficient. Couldn't be more happy.

If you're in need of furnace/heating serving I would definitely recommend Black Lion Heating & Air. They were able to come out the same day and J.J. the technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He is a good listener, provided an honest assessment, and didn't charge for any more than needed. I was very glad I called them and will certainly use them again.

I have worked with many subcontractors and Blacklion is the worst. Jason came out and gave me a quote to install an electrical furnace. In the quote, the electrical furnace is to be located so that a 3’-4’ walkway can be maintained. After installation, there is only a 2’ walkway. Back lion refused to come fix it without charging me an additional $3,900. In addition to refusing to move the furnace, they ripped out one of the supply ducts and left the oil tank which they refused to come back and handle as originally agreed.

Much like others experienced, Jason refused to answer any calls or texts and directed me to the office which is a dead end.

Lastly, once I complained about the work not being done they went ahead and charged my card in 5 random separate transactions.
Very frustrating experience!

Black Lion has a responsive and knowledgeable sales representative. With their competitive price and earlier installation schedule, it wasn’t hard for me to choose them over others. The installation was on time and professional. Strongly recommend!
