Green City Heating and Air Conditioning

I hired Green City Heating to relocate and install a new furnace, build new ductwork, and add an AC. Matt and Tony did a phenomenal job! The quality of the install is top notch, no corners cut, and the work ethics of the team is impressive. The process and the result exceeded my expectations on all fronts. Definitely calling Green City Heating again for my next project.

Green City Heating & Air Conditioning was phenomenal to work with. During a busy summer, Jeff made time to visit my house and talk through all the options for heat pumps – and explained various pros & cons of the systems so that even a first time homeowner like myself felt knowledgeable and empowered to make a decision. Once I made a choice for a heat pump, his team stayed on top of notifications throughout the supply chain crisis of 2021, keeping me up to date about when the equipment would arrive in order to schedule the installation. The installation team were totally professional, friendly, and quiet! They were courteous around the house and very mindful not to let our cats our while working at hour house. The installation was totally completed within the single day, and at the end I was given a very thorough explanation of every piece and how it worked. I would absolutely call Green City for any future HVAC needs. 10/10 highly recommended.

We needed to replace our furnace, upgrade our ductwork and add cooling to our home. We procured about 25 estimates (some vendors provided multiple options) and after doing our due diligence, selected Green City Heating and Air.

Josh Bond was extremely knowledgeable, responsive and overall just great to work with. Given the cost of the system, I was very particular about what I wanted, including where the additional vents would be located. Josh was a great sounding board, telling us straight up what was necessary and what wasn't. I never felt like I was being sold to. In fact, I actually had to ask Josh to add two options to the proposal after doing the research on my end.

Josh's professionalism and service extended to Jasper and Ron who did our installation. They were extremely respectful of our house, making sure every area was covered before beginning their work. They always arrived promptly and worked tirelessly to get the system up and running in a short amount of time. Everything was done well, to the point the inspector noted how well the ductwork was run.

The only two hiccups was a miscommunication between the office and the installers regarding the amount of returns and the inspectors requiring exhaust modification. Jasper and Ron came back twice to rectify these problems and both times, they again arrived promptly and got their work done very quickly.

They always stopped to explain what they were doing and in general just made sure I was in the loop re: every step of the process. They could've taken short cuts here or there but instead always went the extra mile to ask for my preference even if that meant additional work on their end.

Given the amount of installers I spoke to, estimates I received, and research I did, rest assured that Green City Heating and Air should probably be your first call and likely the only call necessary.

Had got AC and heat, mini split installed from them and had a great experience. We got three bids and had unbelievably unprofessional experiences with the companies. Green city the process was smooth and easy. The mini splits are perfect, working great!

Green City Heating and Air Conditioning came to my house today to install an AC unit (which we never had in this house before) and a new furnace. We got five bids and we chose Green City because the owner came out and inspected and measured everything which none of the other contractors did. He also matched the lowest bid. He gave us a professional bid and also gave us the unit that we wanted. We also got an excellent deal on the furnace. My husband had multiple questions about the service so he called the owner multiple times and the owner was kind enough to answer all of them. The guys that came to do the work came at the time and day of our appointment and were extremely professional and were very courteous. They left the area in the garage clean and also made sure everything was working smoothly before leaving. I am extremely pleased with this company’s professionalism and will use them for all my servicing needs.

Green City Heating and Air installed a new furnace and thermostat for us one year ago and did a maintenance check on it recently. We really appreciated the job that they did for the following reasons:
- they were up front and professional when giving us a quote (I had done my research and didn't feel as though they were trying to sell us more than was necessary)
- their workmanship was excellent (in addition, they were very open and willing to explain what they were doing during the process)
- the furnace and thermostat have performed flawlessly over this past year...👍👍
- by this point in the process, we really trust them

My mother recently installed a furnace with Greencity.
Her furnace went out of order in the middle of cold season. The estimator, Mr. Diamond Harris, came out and estimated. He was courtreous and professional. He provided very clear plan how this can be installed. Answered all of our questions.

Since this installation was after the broken furnace, my mother badly needed a new furnace as quickly as possible. Otherwise, she had to hold on to a small radiator all day.

The owner Jeff thankfully priorized the installation date and she got a warm home again at the fastest.

Also to mention, their installation crews, Matt and his colleague, was very professional. They explained details about the installation and the new furnace to my mother thoroughly and clean the area spottlessly.

From the estimate to the payment with the office staff, Debbie who helped the payment and the warranty, nothing to complain about. Everything was great.

Overall, I am happy.

These guys were amazing. I was told by Mountain Heating that my 12 year old Trane furnace needed to be replaced. Was told it was going to be 2k in parts and 2k in service.

Green city got me going for a tiny fraction of that. 1 part and 34 minutes of labor and I'm warm again, but more importantly, we didn't just dump a furnace into the waste stream.

I will be buying my next furnace from Green City, no doubt about it.

We had Green City install a heat pump and mini split in the summer of 2019. We had a great install and their work was first rate. The completed the install on time, cleaned up after the work was done. This past May 2020 we needed to add an additional mini split in a new location, in my workshop. Within one week of approving the work the new unit was in and working great. I am glad we found Green City and I am truly grateful for their professional, prompt, and great work. I talk to the owner Jeff. I told him about my situation. He had so much Empathy about my Furnace going out with a five-year-old and 10-month-old. He was able to schedule me an appointment with last with less than two days. He even offered to deliver space heaters. He was very responsive with answering all my questions.He was never frustrated about my lack of knowledge since I’m a first time home buyer.He also guarantees he’s work.This company goes above and beyond and do things right the first time!!I would recommend this company to anyone including my family and friends.
