Green City Heating and Air Conditioning

My experience with green city was amazing start to finish. Jeff came out and did our quote and answered every question I had. He fit me with the right product for my need and didn’t try to over or under sell what our home needed. The crew that came out to install was professional and did an amazing job. Issac showed me what he was doing and made sure I understood my new system before he left. I would highly recommend this company.

I had them to replace my heater & A/C because their quote was the cheapest I could found (yea I am being very honest here :-p). They did an awesome job. Therefore I decided to have my water heater replaced by them as well. Their quote is very competitive. Their sales guy is very responsive, and he never sells you anything that you don’t need: some contractors try bundle things together and hope you don’t notice — they don’t do that. They treat your home as their own. Their engineer is very professional, knowledge, and friendly. I would hire them again. Highly recommended.

We are very pleased with Green City’s work replacing the rusty and cracked gas vent on our roof. Debby in the office was great to work with and helped us with scheduling. The installers worked very hard to replace the outside vent pipe without having to open up drywall inside the house. This saved us the extra expense of a drywall repair. They even painted the new vent pipe so that the rainy weather wouldn’t rust it out again. We will be using Green City for all our future HVAC needs.

I called Green City to come give me a quote on adding AC to an existing gas furnace. I got an immediate response and had the man in charge at my place in a couple days to give me a quote. His proposal included replacing a 12 year old furnace. I felt a little pressured at first to buy a new furnace when the existing one was chugging along just fine for now.

Overall, I obtained 5 different quotes to do the job. One was a way low-ball deal, and the rest were all significantly higher. Green City's quote was still less than two other quotes I obtained and not only included a furnace in the proposal, but also had an install time that was a little over a week out, rather than the 3 or more weeks from the other contractors.

The installers were friendly and personable and worked quickly. The proposal included converting to an external filter grill on the cold air return but the installer was a sheet metal guru and converted an existing old air cleaner into a box capable of handling a bigger better filter.

In the end, the whole job was done start to finish in around 7 hours for less money than quoted. The new system is in and seems to be working fine after a few initial squeaks and wheezes.

After feeling like another company was trying to up sell me on a new heating system to replace my 100 year old boiler, I reached out to Green City. They inspected the boiler and gave me a reasonable quote and took the time to explain my options so I was able to understand what I needed and what would work best in my 100 year old house. Booking and install was easy. Their team did a great job all around.

Green City replaced our hot water boiler furnace in February, 2020. Their estimator, Jeff, knew exactly what we needed, and got back to us very promptly with a responsive, cost-effective quote. Their installation team showed up on schedule, and Robert and Demon did an outstanding job of installing, and putting a rather complex piece of equipment in operation. Every sweated joint worked, and all of the piping ran true as only another craftsman can appreciate. They were also most gracious with me in hover mode, and answered all of my questions. I would recommend this family owned business to anyone! We will certainly be putting them under contract for service.

Despite supply chain shortages due to the pandemic Jeff and his team delivered. I got the ductless mini split system for my home and I have never experienced a more efficient way to heat a home! Looking forward to summer where I can try out to AC. Thanks again Green City Heating and AC!

Great service. Alex and Jasper were very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our gas furnace was replaced quickly and at a fair price. Debby, at the office, was very helpful in scheduling the appointment and answering questions. Definitely recommended!

These guys are the best. Besides the fact that my heat went out on Christmas eve and they came that day to get me working yesterday they installed a great thermostat that works with my system. They came a few months ago and installed my nest thermostat and at that time suggested the one they just installed but unfortunately I ignored them and the nest thermostat has been a nightmare ever since. Jeff, Trevor and the guys and girls at Green City are awesome and if you want great service at a very reasonable price there is no one else you should use.

Aaa Heating Kent wanted to charge me $900 to repair my furnace. I thought I’d get 2nd opinion from Green City Hvac. They found 2 burners that were out that just needed cleaning. It costed me only the price of a service call. I will definitely use GreenCity Heating over AAA Heating.
