Had an issue at first with this company and newer tech. Gave a bad review, a manager reached out to me and is attempting to make things right. They responded quickly and came out same day to attempt to fix the issue. Kudos for that, awaiting final outcome to say bravo!

Update 5/7 ac is out again, guy came out on the weekend and checked it. He said filling back up must have busted a coil upstairs. Result, no ac for now. He also said home warranty may not cover additional duct work, not doing well here....

To be fair, a technician came out the same day and it seems like he might have identified the issue. The problem is we haven't heard from anyone in almost THREE WEEKS and after calling repeatedly to figure out what's going on, I was informed that there's no record of completing the service appointment (it's listed as "cancelled"), no parts were ordered, and no further follow up was scheduled. We've been mostly without heat for this entire time and are looking at an additional wait for parts to finally be ordered. We're extremely frustrated and I've contacted friends I know to cancel service with United and find another provider. I wish I could give zero stars.

This company was referred to us by
American home Shield, they sent out a technician had no knowledge how to fix
The bib Cox , he messed up my water regulator and told American home shield.
The pressure is high in the house , that he was taking the pressure at the bottom of hot water heater. That caused all these problems. We asked for an experienced technician first they agree, then they refused
I will never use this company again

They tried to rip me off. They got called out to my house by American Home Shield to check my Water Heater that was leaking water. I called them to schedule an appointment on Friday morning, but the representative (Carla) told me the earliest they can come out is Tuesday. I told her that my carpet is getting drenched and I need someone out asap. She told me that she would call me back at 5 pm so we can conference call American Home Shield to let them know it is an expedited case that needs an emergency tech asap. 5 pm comes around and she doesn't call me. So I call them and another rep tells me to call AHS and let them know secondary damage is occurring in the home and a tech is needed asap. I do that and tech from United Air Temp shows up at 8 pm to check my water heater. He tells me that it needs to be replaced and a manager will be over this weekend to give me a quote. No one shows up or calls all weekend. I call them on Monday morning and the manager Giovanni shows up around 1 pm. He writes a quote out for me that involves items such as Carbon Monoxide detectors on all 3 floors that are not needed for $270, a drain pan for $329 (normal price $50), a permit charge for $250 (normal price $99), unneeded Water pipeline modification for $690, unneeded gas pipe modification for $340, and the expansion tank for $240 (normal price $150). And I know the normal prices for these items, because I called up 2 other companies and they quoted me the normal prices for these items. I went with one of those companies and no water pipeline mod. or gas pipeline mod. was needed, and I ended up spending less for the replacement.

Juan from Rockville office was here for plumbing issues, after completing those repairs ,We discovered leak in water pressure valve, on inspection and after informing my insurance company, he was able to replace while here. This saved me from a costly repair. Thank You Juan and your company.

United air temp was the contractor provided by American home shield to repair two toilets in my home that were not flushing. I provided the parts from Lowes that were energy, efficient, toilet float and drain. There was a contractor name “Arrie” who came and install the parts. He was 15 minutes late and when he arrived it was clear that he didn’t know what he was doing as it took about an hour for him to repair the first toilet float and drain. When he finished and inspected the toilet was loose so I asked if he could correct it. He asked if I could assist him while he tightened it up. He then proceeded to repair the second one, and at the end the toilet was leaking. I pointed this out and Arrie asked me to assist him in tightening up the toilet. He then left. About three days later the downstairs toilet was leaking progressively, it started as a slow leak and was hitting the hard wood floors in my bathroom. I called United air temp to let them know. They refused to help me and told me to call American home shield American home shield, then put in emergency, dispatch out and three days later, United air temp showed up and it was Artie was the contractor who showed up again. He tightened up the toilet again and when I pointed out to him that the leaky toilet cause damage to my hardwood floor and ask for his supervisors information, he refused to provide it to me but later texted me a phone number without a name. I later contacted United air, temp customer service via email and asked for their managements information so I could file a claim for the damage to my hardwood floors resulting from there for repairs but I was never followed up with other than an email saying that management will contact me.

I am now having to go through a lawyer to get this matter resolved. I wish I’d never use united air temp because I started off with a toilet that wasn’t flushing but now I have two toilets that are now leaking and damage to my hard wood floors downstairs and my marble upstairs in the second bathroom, which is now Leaking. I will likely have to take United air temp to small claims court. This isn’t what I bargained for. I just wanted my toilets repaired.

Don’t use this contractor!!!!

The company responded very quickly. They easily diagnosed the problems with my garbage disposal and restroom faucets and drains. They had the parts on hand and quickly, efficiently and cleanly solved the problems. Subash was our technician. He was so nice and professional. I will ask for him every time!

They arrived on time--two guys, one a trainee. They checked the heating system, and that seemed to go well. They indicated that everything seemed good. Then the guy who was not the trainee indicated that he wanted to get to the machinery behind the filter. Trainee was told to go back to the truck.

I told the guy who stayed that to the best of my knowledge, no one has tried to get in there before. He did some things, then tried to turn the heat back on. After allowing for the 5 minute delay, the system did not come back on. After some examination, he determined that he'd blown a fuse on the unit and needed to replace it--told me he's had that happen to him before. He replaced the fuse, and the heater works.

When I received the invoice notes, there was no mention of him blowing the fuse. When I called to complain, I was basically told that as long as the heater works, it didn't matter. Their service was decent, but I did not like this covering up of something he did wrong.

I had a toilet that needed a shut-off valve replaced. The first contractor apparently did not know how to fix it. When United Temp Air technician (Isaiah Strawberry) came out, he replaced the shut-off valve. He was very professional. He did a great job. We were very pleased with his service.

We used United Air Temp through our home warranty. Subash was communicative about when he would arrive. He was really informative about what he was going to do to fix the high pressure in our house, replaced the pressure regulator valve, and told us what to do in the future. I’m very happy with our experience today and have no hesitation using them again in the future.
