I used this company for two repairs. Judy Schibner was able to fix my AC on the spot. Benjamin Slayton came later in the week to fix my tub drain. Both were very professional and pleasant to work with. Would recommend them both.

We’ve had preventative maintenance on our AC unit since 2020, and they’ve always been professional, communicative and honest. Mark in particular did a great job at our recent inspection. Can’t recommend enough!

I was not please with how the contractor Wes Collawn spoke with me. I already knew I had a problem. I was told if he did a diagnosis that I would be charge. However, he first said that he was not going under the house because of the mess—then later argued about his time and said he went and look but did not do anything. He wants me to pay a fee when I specifically said I am only looking for a quote not a trip fee. If I approved of the work and you had to find the problem
Yes I would pay but he complained more than helped.

Chris Bennett arrived on time to install a new natural gas hot water heater in my home. Throughout the removal of the leaking hot water heater and the installation of the new hot water heater, Chris kept me informed of the service he was performing which I appreciated. I’m very pleased with the professional manner that Chris demonstrated during the installation of the new hot water heater and I will recommend him to others in need of a new hot water heater.

Had a clogged up kitchen sink. Nothing I did worked. Chris Bennett worked extremely hard to clear the pipe system. He was very professional and friendly, and explained everything very well, I am more than satisfied with his work and will use him again for my plumbing needs.

Jacob Halley who performed the inspection was very detailed and thorough with his work and knowledge as a master electrician. His knowledge and patience helped me to understand the electrical issues that I was having in my house and I had learned a lot. Jacob was indeed a pleasure to work .

I’m a long-time Short Pump Heating & Air customer and love how professional and friendly the employees are. I definitely trust them for my HVAC and plumbing needs. I wasn’t happy with F.H. Furr taking over because company culture is everything but the good thing is seeing the same faces of long-time Short Pump Heating & Air employees who are trustworthy and dependable. I was pleased to have Gregory Fellows install my hvac unit today and he’s coming back tomorrow to install one for my upstairs. He and his colleague who completed the installation were professional, thorough and took the time to acquaint me with the new equipment. Glad he’s completing the install tomorrow! F.H. Furr should do everything they can to keep these awesome local people who are the faces of the brand. I doubt the company would be successful with operating from Northern Virginia without the local people who make a difference.

Scott came out and did a great job diagnosis the issue with my hvac system. He made sure to explain it in a way that a non-technical person such as myself could understand. I am happy that I chose to work with these guys.
