    I really should have got a full year contract. I will next time It will pay for itself. I was really impressed when they set up my AC this summer. Now that winter is starting I am very impressed with their thoroughness with their regular preventative services. Much more detailed than others I've used in the past. Definitely going with Scott this time around.

    I purchase the annual service from Scott Heating and Cooling. They go twice a year to check on system, change out filters and make recommendations necessary as a preventative. They do a great job servicing . COVID safe too!

    They installed our Trane refrigerated system a few years ago and it has worked perfectly ever since. No work has been done to it since then. Everytime Scott comes out for its regular "check ups" it's always just fine. Ever since it was installed my experience has been that the staff is always professional and polite, and very proficient at what they do. Since this system has worked perfectly through the years, it speaks well of their work, and the quality systems they install.

    These guys are AMAZING!!!! I'm very happy with their service! They're very Professional and knowledgeable at what they do. They took care of us from beginning to end. Mike, Christian and every person I talked to were very courteous, friendly and responsible.     Sergio, the tech was excellent, he called to let me know he was coming. He came at the specified appointment time, got he problem figured out, got the part and fixed the furnace! I would highly recommend this service provider.

    My units were installed in February of this year.. shortly there after I was having issues with cooling... I just want to pass along my atta boy and kudos to Scott and his technical crew and service support crew for the outstanding job of installation and service.     Update: I contacted Scott's as was offered below and was quite happy with the response. While I am still out a bit of money, I think they did everything they could and are truly committed to providing the best customer service and the best quality of work. Therefore I've revised my rating to five stars. Thank you Scott Heating and Cooling.

    My heating and cooling system was purchased and installed by Scott last spring to the sum of $12897.00 for a Trane XL16c. It's an excellent system but even so I may have overpaid a bit, so it's prudent to shop around. The only complaint I have about the functionality of the system is my living room gets very little heat in the winter. This has to do with the high ceilings and limited air flow from the single register serving the area; perhaps this could have been mitigated. The main reason I rate Scott H&C three stars and not higher is the roofing around the unit was done incorrectly and caused water damage in my house. I reported this during the semiannual inspection and never heard back from them. I had to hire a contractor to correctly shingle the roof around the ac unit and repair the water damage. This costed me $1500.

    Overall dissatisfied with the service and workmanship. Below is my experience.

    We called Scott Contracting for a second opinion on an issue with our Air Conditioning unit. They confirmed what we had been told by by another company. They initially quoted me a rate a couple hundred dollars less than what we had been told with the caveat that it could change depending on how much the part cost, etc. The next day we received a call stating the job would cost $100 for the part plus $70/hr on labor. We told them to go ahead and complete the job with the understanding that there would not be any flat rate and the price would be the $100 plus $70/hr.

    I wasn't home for the job completion but my wife was. After the technician was complete after just under two hours he gave the bill to my wife which totaled almost $500. She didn't understand but paid it anyway. I heard about it a minute later and called them immediately. I spoke with Oscar who told me that he would call me back after researching it. Three hours later I called them to follow up. Oscar told me that he was going to issue a refund but he'd let me know the next morning.

    The next morning he called me and told me he would issue a refund of about $120. I expressed my concerns that this still isn't what we discussed but he told me that was all he could do. Needless to say I take issue with this but I felt like I couldn't do anything else at this point.

    Lastly, and this simply speaks to their work quality. To complete the job they did, they had to remove the A-Coil cover. When they put it back on they didn't tape anything so when the AC is on it was leaking air very badly. Additionally, I had some aluminum tape from a long time ago which I had been storing inside the furnace closet. The technician took it. I'm sure he just thought it was his but to put it plainly that was really lame. Finally, the technician also replaced the air filter. he didn't have the right size filter so he cut one to fit. Of course that didn't work so when I got home and checked it, the top portion of the filter was being sucked into the return (I took a picture of it because it was so bad it was almost funny). I went to the store and bought new tape and also replaced the filter with one of the right size but these were things I shouldn't have had to do.

    Poor workmanship on top of poor customer service in their billing department. There are choices in HVAC repair. I will not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone either.

    We've worked w/ Scott H&C for several yrs, they maintained our other Trane and installed our new Trane. We've had nothing but GREAT service from both Office and Field and had the pleasure of having Adrian Chavez today to do a scheduled System maintenance check on our unit. Adrian checked our unit and also informed us of a new product that can be installed into our unit and paired to our thermostat to ionize the air for better air quality thru out the house. Again, another Great visit from Scott H&C!! Thank You!!! CMJ
