They came to check why my a/c wasn't cooling. The young man cleaned out the outside unit and he did a very good job on that but then said that i needed a new compressor because ours was failing and quoted us $3000, the majority of this cost was for labor. I had someone else give us a 2nd opinion and he cleaned out the unit inside the house and got it working within the hour. The cost for this was $250. New compressor was not needed. That was 9 days ago and my a/c is cooling just fine.

I am sure they provide solid work, and the service guys that came out were very professional. They were unable to fix my issue through no fault of their own. Now, I have issue with the cost of parts. I understand that things come at a premium when a company provides a service, but a 500% markup on parts is unacceptable. If you want to charge a bit more, add it into your labor. Charging $120 for a $15 to $20 part is crazy. Before you say "it is a better quality part," I found the exact same part using the upc and part number. I should have done my research then and there, but I should be able to trust a company will not try to take advantage of their customers. If you have money to burn, you may want to call them.

After having numerous issues with my HVAC unit, I decided it was time to stop delaying the inevitable and replace the unit. I called several companies to come out and give me estimates. Scott Heating, Cooling & Plumbing was actually a fill-in for a no-show from another company. I received a call from Oscar on that same day confirming my appointment. Unbeknownst to me, Oscar showed up on his day off. Oscar did not try to up-sell anything and encouraged me to get several estimates before deciding. After doing some research, I narrowed my choices down to two companies but chose to go with Scott because of their responsiveness. We decided on a day to do the install, and the techs showed up with the equipment and completed the job the same day. There were some hiccups with the initial install, but after a follow-up call from Oscar the next day, he and Chris promptly showed up and tied up all the loose ends. I was floored by the attention to detail and quick response after the sale and installation of the unit. Chris was excellent and patient in explaining how the equipment worked and walked around with us to ensure all the work was satisfactory. It is so refreshing in this day an age to have a company take pride in their work and make sure that it is done right. Scott Heating, Cooling & Plumbing has gained a lifelong customer. Kudos to the owner for hiring professionals like Oscar and Chris.

This company is great. They installed a new HVAC system for us. They were professional, offered the best price, and worked fast and efficiently. We had a problem with our furnace a few months after. It turned out to be a user error but Scott’s sent a technician out the same day. Gelasio was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered me a lot of tips on how to maintain and take care of my system to make it last the longest. I’m so impressed with the service and highly recommend this company.

I called this business and asked the cost to clean out a clogged kitchen sink drain. This respondent stated that it would cost between $125-225. I asked what would determine the price and was told that it would depend upon whether the small or the large unit was required. The service techs arrived on schedule and completed the job, 40 minutes from getting to my home until writing the invoice. They used the small unit (shorter "snake" length). When they gave me the invoice it was for $220, which I immediately questioned. I was then connected back to the office, where the contact person said that he had quoted a range of charges, that the plumber who performed the service determined the actual charge, and that he (the one on the phone) was not a plumber and couldn't determine the price. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, AS THEY WILL NOT GIVE TRUTHFUL ANSWERS. The work was perfectly acceptable, but the price was excessive, and not what had been represented. I had received several quotes from other services for this work, but unfortunately would have had to wait, which turned out to have been the better option. This was a routine service during regular hours, no emergency. I over-paid by almost $100. BUYER BEWARE

My A/C wasn't cooling, I called Scott Heating and Cooling and they sent a technician out the same day, after regular business hours. Chad called when in route to give me an ETA, and arrived on time or early. He diagnosed our issues quickly and had our unit cooling again. He checked everything on the unit before leaving. Great service.

I feel as if this business deserves two separate reviews; one for service and one for cost.
I had a leak that was fixed promptly and expertly. It required access to the plumbing through the dry wall which had to be demolished. The repair of the dry wall was done beautifully. Overall, each person who came to my home was professional, courteous and very conscious about cleanliness. I was so pleased with their work.
However the cost was exorbitant. To locate and repair the leaking pipes cost $258.00 per hour. And some of that time was 'down-time', that is, some of that time was spent waiting for arrival of equipment. Repair of the dry wall was more reasonable at $80.00 per hour.
In reading other reviews, I would echo the sentiments that the work performed is characterized by expertise, dependability, courtesy and promptness. But a caveat here applies: If you are going to use the services of Scott HVAC, get an estimate first.

We have always had very professional services with Scott Heating and Cooling. Some months ago, we hired Scott to replace a mini-duct system in an apartment that we rent out, connected to our house. They worked with us to find the best units that fit our needs as an upgrade to the units that were no longer working. The installation was quick and clean and the system works fantastic, cooling the apartment. Recently, we were preparing to rent the apt and we went to check the heating function of the unit and, mistakenly, thought that the units were just set up for air conditioning. We immediately contacted Scott and the managers there, both Mike and Adrian, assured us--just as quickly--that if there was a problem with them having installed the wrong kind of units they would work with us to swap the units out for the correct ones. The next day they sent two technicians to check on the units and, to our chagrin, showed us that we had not been using the hand controller correctly. We had not seen how the controller 'slid open' to reveal all of the function buttons. While this was a very simple solution, Scott demonstrated their professional responsibility to immediately address what we thought was a big problem. We are thankful for their attention and great service and their willingness to continue to maintain their professional service relationships with their customers.

I have been a customer of Scott’s AC for a few years now and I have received very good and prompt service. Their technicians have been courteous and professional explaining what services my unit may need. The majority of times I have been assigned “Sal” when I have done my summer and winter preventative maintenance. I have been very satisfied with his work and ask for him if he is available. I am very satisfied with Scott’s AC compared with other companies I have used.

The services of Scott Contracting were done very well and were very helpful. The contractors and the staff were professionals, courteous, and respectful. I would definitely recommend them. They responded very quickly to my requests. As soon as I called and got my estimate, within a week they were here already getting the job done. Their professionalism really stood out to me. They were perfect people and perfect workers. I was very impressed. From 1-10 I rate their services as 11. Keep up the good work and high performance.
