    On Tuesday I was seeking professional Heating evaluation at my home. I called Scott heating to please sent a technician to take a look and advise. I have two furnaces that I was having trouble regulating the temperature . I could not seam to get the thermostats to function properly.

    Scott heating and cooling sent someone that same day. Around 2 PM. they arrived. One senior technician and a trainee.

    The technician was very knowledgeable, HIs name was/is Salvador Orozco.

    He offered expert advice. He adjusted my thermostats (both of them). He explained the upgrades to bring my units with the recommended upgrades.

    I am very pleased with their assistance and recommendations. I paid them and told them that I would take their advice at a later date. I will use Scott Heating and Cooling for all my Heating needs. I am very happy with the professionalism and friendliness your technicians demonstrated, A hearty THANK YOU,

    Have used them for service on my refrigerated air unit as well as install of a new water heater. All employees have been great friendly and informative. Wanted to use them for replacement of my ac unit but they no longer work on mobile homes, disappointing but understandable.

    Scott Contracting got out to repair my refrigerated ac system very quickly. And their service was very prompt, professional, and polite. The work was completed timely and at a good rate. They are a great HVAC company!

    I'm glad so many had a good review (suspicious but optimistic)My advice is Beware and Stay Away. These guys talk a great game, and unfortunately the game is bait and switch. I had a compressor that needed to be changed. The good: They answered their phone, and return calls. Had the part and I had no problems with the work done. THE BAD: They tried to tell me my compressor wasn't under warranty based on the serial number. Without warranty $1,300. Luckily with an hour of my own research I was able to prove them wrong. Then they told me they charge an hourly rate $70/hr for their tech. They quoted me for 4-6 hours of work and said they'd adjust it once they have the actual time needed. So I'm looking at my other quotes from the competition showing it'll take no more than 3 hours and they charge $125/hr. Obviously $70/hr is a better deal right? WRONG this company is dishonest. Not only did they try and spoof me on the warrantied item for $1300, the job took just under 3 hours and they insisted on charging me for 6 hours of labor over $600 because the tech had an assistant. (nothing bad on the assistant but all he did was observe, turns out to get your license you need to follow an experienced technician, so who's doing who a favor here) Basically they committed to 6 hours of labor they didn't perform. Don't believe a word they say from ownership down. Be careful and don't fall for this from these guys or any other in the industry. The BAIT is the hourly rate and commitment to adjust the quoted hours, then the SWITCH after the work is done "we charge by project". Turns out this is very common confusion tactic and consumers don't know any better. I wrote to the owners, making them aware of the problem and zero response to correct the error or take ownership of it. Obviously this company is content with dishonest practices. My advice, Reward the companies that do right, even if it cost a bit more. I can over look slow response, or parts unavailable but not a company who doesn't do the Right thing, it's not hard to do in a desert where AC is in high demand. These guys are greedy.

    Appointment was at 4 showed up at 530. Only flipped the switch on the breaker off and on which fixed the problem. But then went to the top just to tell me the unit was good which resulted in $134 charge which I wouldve said no if i would've been told it was going to cost more just to let me know my unit was good. The AC was already working after turning the breaker on. I was ok with paying the $112(overtime price) for them to show up, but not $246 for a 15 minute job.

    I had two wonderful customer care encounters with Scott's Heating & Air Conditioning Company today, Sunday, 06 December 2020. I called the answering service to request support because my furance was not working and to replace my thermostat. Mike responded in less than 30-minutes and dispatched a delightful professional named Chad. Chad called to let me know he was on the way and he arrived on time with his COVID-19 face mask on. Chad found the problem, fixed it, installed the thermostat, replaced the air filter (I provided both), tested the system, did a maintenance & carbon monoxide check, demonstrated how to use the new thermostat, answered all of my many questions, cleaned-up and enrolled me in the Scott's Family Plan
    (Yearly HVAC Maintenance & Service); Pricing for everything was very affordable. Thank you Mike for your timely response. Thank you Chad for taking pride in your work, your excellent communications skills and for providing me exceptional customer service. R/ TB

    Blower went out on my AC overnight. Called in the morning, they managed to get a technician to my house in about 45 minutes. Tech spent all day working on my old AC, finally got it blowing cold before time to cook dinner. Second time I've used them, both times well above average for service and results.

    The Scott Heating and cooling serviceman Joe Gomez, came out to perform service on our system and was very prompt and friendly and took care of the required maintenance. He found a problem and immediately worked out a way to get it repaired. This kind of service is very much appreciated and really is a personal and professional blessing.
