Had entire HVAC and ducts replaced with a Lennox system 9/11/18 at over $6000. Factory weld/solder leaked (1 leak) at compressor. Quoted me over $800 for repairs on 4/9/21. I complained. Tech called supervisor and offered a discount on refrigerant. Charged $692 to repair leak, recharge system, and service call in the less than 3 year old system. Won't use them again or Lennox. Warranty is worthless. They sold an expensive low quality system that breaks prematurely and then charged me over 10% of the entire HVAC system to solder a pin hole. System wouldn't need refrigerant and wouldn't need a service call if product wasn't low quality and falling apart.
Update! 8/20/2021 Lennox HVAC blowing warm air. Called a different company. Leaking copper coil in the attic. Of course TX Ace is selling the Copper coil Lennox systems that will leak after a few years even when there was a class action lawsuit against those copper coils that was settled in 2015! Still selling the faulty equipment! Raking in the money on service calls, labor costs, and freon charges on equipment they know will break after a few years. Went to the BBB and saw other complaints about these Lennox systems they are still selling. Unbelievable!
Very professional. Asked if there were any issues. Performed maintenance on the unit and when finished discussed the work done and if there were any items that might need attention in the future. Perfect service and did not try to add any additional work.
Serviceman Eric Dominguez was great from the start. Took care of our ac issue and gave great tips. Staff setting up appointment were friendly and quick with service set up.
While initially had difficulties with the scheduling and mis-information of the work, their Accounting and Quality assurance reviewed the paperwork and was able to work everything else in a correct and professional manner.
Julio Guerrero came out late Sunday night and not only did he fix the problem in a timely manner he did it with a GREAT attitude. It’s employees like Julio that will keep us using Texas Ace for our heating and A/C needs.
