Hamza, a Burnside Service-tech, performed maintenance on our A/C system this morning. He knew what he was doing and was efficient with time spent, not neglecting thorough system review and tests. He found a component that was below spec and I had him replace it, preventing a potential system failure in the future. Unfortunately, last week our Air Conditioning went out. We have a home warranty that referred us to another company that did a very poor job explaining the situation and basically only told us that our issue was not covered under warranty before leaving us with a very expensive quote. Needing AC, we asked the that company if they would at least be able to fix the job that day, and he said that the earliest they could squeeze us in would be later in the following week, leaving us without AC for over a week...
I then decided to call Burnside (late on a Friday afternoon) and explained the situation to them. Debbie, the lady who took my call was extremely kind and understanding and managed to get a technician, Dominick out to our property about 2 hours later. Because we had already burned a $75 diagnostic service call fee on the previous company, they even agreed to waive their own service fee, which they didn't need to do, but went a long way in our eyes. When Dominick inspected our unit, unfortunately, he did not have great news for us and it was still a costly repair that would take at least 2 hours to complete. We asked him if he would be able to complete the service that day, somewhat expecting him not to be able to since it was now about 6PM on Friday. Without a second thought, Dominick happily stayed at our property and fixed the unit that very evening. Plus, he managed to get us a healthy discount by recommending their Gold level service plan, which also includes inspections on the unit twice a year. At about 8PM, he completed the job and we had A/C that night!
Thank you Burnside, for your extremely prompt, friendly, and professional service. You went above and beyond to service our needs and while we hope not to need another repair anytime soon, we will happily use your services should a problem arise in the future.
