Called back because of a noise the outside condenser was making a humming noise. Michael Liu came out, checked atic unit, and inspected the whole equipment in and out. Michael Liu is very knowledgeable of his trade.

Air Tech of Katy did a complete air conditioning and water heater install on Friday, March 31, 2023.

Eric was the crew supervisor, and the crew was the best. The team was organized, labor was intensive but they made it look easy. The house was left clean, floor was covered, and everyone worked harmoniously.

Adam, followed up with a double-check on the finished project. He answered all our questions in terms we understood. He aimed to please and was awesome.

Initially, Joseph was our first personal contact at our home to discuss expectations, finance, and to get everything just right and set a date. Joseph will come by on Monday to do a final inspection. He was terrific. Eric, Adam, and Joseph were and are extremely personable and know their business.

We thank Air Tech and all the players for your help, expertise in this endeavor, and patiently answering our questions! May I add that the phone etiquette was outstanding in the office. We are cooling quickly in our home as the new AC charges up. We are pleased, and Air Tech will continue maintenance in the years ahead.

We purchased $16000 of new air conditioners in March 2020. One of the new coils had a leak recently and the initial labor they wanted to charge for 2 techs working 2.5 hours was $2600. After complaining to the manager, the bill was reduced to $1980 which is still outrageous. They sold me a faulty product which was under warranty otherwise it would have cost even more. Manager told me this is what they charge for coil replacement. It’s not right to do that to customers. I do not recommend them nor will I ever use them again.

Hector Solgado went above and beyond to fix my AC issue today. He was courteous, knowledgeable, attentive and fixed the both my drain issue and compressor issue. He is the best AC Tech I’ve had work on our units in the whole time we’ve been living in this house (14 years). He is a credit to himself and to your company. Thank you Hector.

Do not use Air Tech of Katy!! Technician came out because our unit was not working. Switched out one capacitor and unit would not start. He stated the unit would is not turning on even though there is power to the unit. He removed the capacitor he put in, told us we needed a new unit and left us with no air. They sent over quotes for new units and that was it. No air. We called another company to come out as few hours later and their tech was able to switch out both capacitors and bam our AC was working again! We had a $500 fix compared to a $10k plus fix. I don’t recommend Air Tech of Katy at all because it seems like they are one of those companies that just wants your money and will leave you miserable until you just decide to choose them. So glad we got a second opinion!

Had a new AC installed. Damn quick (same day) and quality work effort. Safe clean polite. Three weeks later I smell refrigerant in the house. Have called for service work 4 times. And all four times they didn't show in the time allocated. And all four times I had to reschedule. I even pay for the warranty extra.

I'm regretting my decision to use this company since it was bought out. It used to be called absolute comfort air. Now I can't use the words that I want to call it.

Upfront work is top notch. Warranty and service work is a PITA. They didnt value this customers time. It took five times before they showed up on schedule. And thays with a four hour window. Perhaps I'm being to harsh, as it is the hot part of the year.

Very punctual and courteous technician. Knowledgeable and explained everything he did on the job. Even offered to wear shoes covers without being asked, always a plus.

Air tech came out for a yearly check up. Edgar was nice. He noticed some issues that need attention. He completed the check up. Hours later we noticed the a/c was not cooling. He accidentally left the circuit breaker to the a/c off. I texted him and he called back saying that the breaker may still be off. He deeply apologized. We turned the breaker back on and the a/c started working. All is good now.
