I called Air Tech of Katy for an AC repair. They came right out despite this being my first call with them. The tech, Jeremy, was great. He was prompt, polite, and knowledgable. He fixed my problem and alerted me to another problem. I did not feel
pressured to do anything, but based on past experience with this unit, I felt certain his diagnosis was correct. Based on my experience, I was very happy with Jeremy’s service, and I recommend this company.

Efrim was able to troubleshoot the problem and get the unit working which was greatly appreciated since the company sent out by the home warranty company were terrible. He warned that unit may fail and gave quotes to replace entire system. Great financing deals now but would like and estimate on just replacing the outside unit

Very quick response, we’re out to diagnostic the problem within 2 hours of my call. Mannie was super knowledgeable and did a thorough inspection. He walked me through everything and was clear on the options. The crew was back early the next day for a hassle free install of the new system. Very professional and efficient crew. Great experience

We had difficulty to communicate due to language barrier. He didn’t seem to explain issues effectively. First he said filter inside the furnace hasn’t been changed hence drain is clogged. Then when I asked him about the size of the filter, he went up to the attic again to check.. when he came down, he said that there is no filter.
After he checked compressor unit, he diagnosed capacitor need to be replaced. Later he said there is a leak in coil which require to change the whole furnace unit.
When I asked him price quote for replacing coil he quoted $18000 for entire AC unit. Although he promised to send detailed report, I haven’t received any photo showing the issues or details explaination of what needs to be done to address the issues.
Overall I had poor quality of service.

Manuel, my technician, replaced my capacitor for a little over $300, and was professional, efficient, and actually early. My three stars is because I was subjected to a high pressure upsell after the work, proposing a completely new furnace. Air Tech used to be Absolute Comfort, who never try to upsell me.

Eduardo did an outstanding job at my house today to check my AC system. He did all of the things required. He also changed my AC filter for me which is in the ceiling and difficult for me to reach. I appreciate his time and excellent service.
