Good service, but buyer beware. Experienced a cordial and professional dispatch process, and the technician was first class and professional as well. The cost to me though, was just way over the top! $244 for 20 minutes of labor with no parts used. I called in to have a line blown out because water was over-flowing into the drain pan - Pretty common stuff. $94 for the arrival fee and confirmation that "yup, you need the line blown out" - then 20 minutes to do the actual repair and 5 minutes to prepare the tablet invoice. Summarized; 20 minutes of labor ($150) + arrival fee ($94) = $244 - Doesn't make Airteam a bad organization, just extremely expensive.
I’ve used Air Team both for general inspections for multiple years and for large repairs to my system (a complete replacement of one of the coils in the attic - a major system repair). They are always professional, they consult with you on issues that might arise, they assist with warranty claims as they arise, and their team members are just friendly and good to interact with. I highly recommend this company, they’re a solid organization.
Best air-conditioning company I have used. They always check if a warranty is available .I recommend their annual maintenance program - that's how I found out my air-conditioner was leaking. Very professional & knowledgeable people - absolutely great service. I have used them for almost 8 years now and will not use any other A/C company.
Service tech arrived and listened carefully to my issue (return air vent was vibrating and causing a low-level hum while the AC was running). He worked quickly to resolve the issue and explain what he did and why he did it, and why it worked to solve the issue. Very nice experience, and i look forward to working with them again if I ever have another issue.
AC was not performing like it should. Tech arrived on time and found the freon was low and then found the leak in the line but for some reason could not fix the problem. Said would have to come back but have not heard from anybody since he left. After calling back myself and advising the office of this, an appointment was made to come back and finish the job. Came the next day and was on time and professional and did satisfactory work and seemed to fix the freon leak. We shall see. Asked for a receipt for payment and work done and was told he would email a receipt, however I have not received any receipt yet. Job seemed expensive to me but will be worth it in this climate if it is fixed.
Unprofessionals is the word! They charge 135 for a tune up and then charge 65 on top of it to detect leaks and that does not get counted towards any repairs. The Technician Mario Romero came for a tune up and he did only two things - Check Freon levels, and opened the coil box to see a leak and the leak was visible, so he did not really have to do much. After that he left and told me, Airteam will get with me regarding the solution to the fix. Well, Airteam did get with me, but sent me a bill for tune up. When I told them the technician did not do a tune up as he did not check anything else, they filled up a maintenance form after the fact and sent that to me claiming that the guy did a tune up. I also asked them, where is my signature on the form and they have not responded back yet. They thought I am a new homeowner who does not know what a tune up is. Either the company or the technician or both lied about it. He did not check the drain, thermostat, filter, did not clean the outside coil, nothing that a tune up consists of. Airteam was the one that installed the HVAC at my house in the first place and I have only had problems. I understand bad service or sloppy work, but they simply LIED. Stay away from Airteam!
Airteam replaced my evaporator coil and did an excellent job with the installation. They also came back to check on my system to make sure it was cooling correctly and added more Freon. The technicians were very professional and I would highly recommend them.
My Nest thermostat was on the blitz, shutting off for 10-30 minutes at a time. After speaking with Nest support it was suggested the problem was not the thermostat but a clogged drain line. I was dubious knowing the drain pan was dry and no water was coming out of the overflow pipe. Nonetheless I called Airteam to send a technician to check things out. After accessing the attic, sure enough I had a clogged drain line because Airteam had installed it incorrectly at a wrong angle. After 10 minutes the problem was solved at no cost whatsoever. I really appreciate Airteam righting a wrong committed by their installation team at no charge. Great service, professional, and I should mention their installation price for a new AC unit was far lower than everyone else. I'm a satisfied customer for life!
I cannot adequately express how thrilled I was with the service we received from Airteam! We woke up the first day of a cold snap with no heat and we have a 1 year old in the house. Airteam made what could have been a nightmare into an easy fix. The technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He said that he would need a part and that it may be another day before he had it on hand. Once he left, their team went straight to work finding the part locally and within a couple hours he was back and fixed our heater. They went above and beyond to ensure my family was safe and comfortable in this cold weather and I am eternally grateful.
