Date: Oct. 4 2018 Non-Professional: Got leaking after replacing the AC coil, replace the coil again after 1 month in the Texas summer No Vacuum period before filling Freon. No skill to fill compressor oil. Careless. Two kinds of welding materials (for high and low temperatures) used at same time while welding, Most of experienced technicians already left the company. Lying: New Freon contains oil. Vacuum is not necessary. Always Manufacturer’s faults even they did wrong. No Supports: Customer service: Just like watch dogs only. No useful information available. Manager: Just like a turtle, most time hiding the head under its shell. Conclusion: The company is irresponsible. Use it with caution and finger crossed at own risk.
Kudos to Alfonso- Airteam Tech. Very professional, knowledgeable and patient to answer and explain our questions. Mom, loved that he was bilingual and was able to communicate with Alfonso in Spanish. Aireteam is a reliable company and is our only to go AC company for maintenance and repairs.
The men who showed up were respectful and thorough. However, I wished they had cleaned up after themselves. It maybe some small trash particles but it still remains the same. Cleaning after work reflects on the company. Ultimately, the main issue was fixed.
I just needed to have the overflow drain line from my ac in the attic, blown clear. The first young man who came out did not know how to do this and quoted me a price to replace the whole thing. 235$ including materials and 2 technicians. They came out to do the work and the the second man said we can just blow it out. This took 5 minutes for him to figure it out and complete the job. This price was $179. Ridiculous!
The entire process was perfect. Cody Pelatari had a great attitude and was very helpful through it all. Allan and the rest of the crew doing the install worked hard and finished well. I wish I could have given a bigger tip. Oh yeah... Their price (and attitude) beat BigTex by FAR. I highly recommend Airteam for your new AC system.
I have already posted about your poor customer service and lack of expertise in fixing a simple task 8mo ago on yelp- to add to this headache, today I go to change out my air filter and the entire unit is unstable (due to your genius technician stacking it on the 2in section of a 2x4). Additionally, I appreciate all the screws you put into the air filter and covered with a cement like material. Obviously didn’t matter with the air filter in, but was a pain in the butt getting the old filter out and impossible to get the new filter in.
Responded same day as called and ordered part and installed withing 24 hours. Very courteous, professional, and timely. Great service during heat of summer!
86 degrees and climbing... Less than a year has passed since they charged us over $2,500 to replace compressor, perform maintainence and have us wait a week in order to replace it. Now it is July 2018, peak of summer and my system has failed, the same one we had replaced!! It is either bad luck, cheap parts or inexperienced technicians.
I’d say the people on the phone who handle customers are wonderful, but management and owner are abismal business people and should be ashamed. I’m making it my mission to report this as a bad business practice due to the bad business practice and I know I’m not the only one. With 3.2 stars before this review it is a trend with these people. There’s no follow up or follow through with customers, only empty promises and mis-direction.
Il be happy to update this review with an additional 1-2 star more once they get their business together and help solve the problem they failed to fix a year ago. To new families and homes, don’t take a chance with them. It’s the summer and you don’t want to trust a company like this!
I have to use this company since Lennar contracted them on a new build. They have been out twice now and still have not gotten the issue resolved when they know what needs to be done. Seems they constantly try to shortcut the job and not do the right thing and fix it correctly.
As of right now I would give a zero star if I could. I called on Thursday and left a message during the "lunch hour" that the office was closed. No call back. I called Friday and was told that a tech would be at my house on Monday between 8-11am. They even gave me the choice of morning or afternoon! Today is Monday- At noon no one had arrived. I called Air Team to see when tech is arriving and they told me that I had not been put on the schedule! So they said that they put me on the calendar and someone would be coming at sometime today. I received 3 confirmation calls that some one would be coming by the evening. I received a call from a tech at 5:10pm telling me that he was 20-30 mins away. yay! At 6pm I received a call that the tech was at my door. I looked- no one at my door. I asked him the address he was at, and he had the correct house number but completely different street in a different area! He said he was going to call the office to get someone out to my house. 15mins later I called him back and he said to give him a few minutes and he would see IF someone was coming. Seriously!!??? It has now been 20 more minutes and I have heard nothing. This is unacceptable! I now remember that I had a similar issue last year. We have been customers for 7 years! I do not think we will make it to an 8th year.
