I have had issues before with this company selling substandard products. I try to avoid them as much as possible. Today I went in to pick up a standard Ironton 100' air hose reel that you wind up by hand. It is item specific to this particular company. There wasn't any on the shelves so I went to the cashier for help and there was no one in line. She refused to help me by looking up the item and brushed me off with a statement that it would take 30+ days to get it from back order. I went out and checked online and it could've been delivered to the store in a day or two. Lazy workers, lazy management.

Always more than happy with the quality and price for items from Northern Tool...but their website checkout leaves a bit to be desired. Key codes and other offers advertised on their site are conflicting and appear to be false advertising. Whole experience was frustrating, including the real time chat "help" that basically was no help at all, other than telling me that the web site offer wasn't really an offer at all.

I've NEVER seen so MANY people work so hard to AVOID doing anything. The store was literally more packed with employees than customers, and all of them were assiduously avoiding anything reassembling their jobs. No one would even make eye contact much less offer to assist in finding anything, you literally had to chase people to find out if they knew where something was. I spent over an hour for what would've taken 15 minutes with assistance. Then I waited in line for 15 more minutes while six employees wasted time trying to look busy. So while they have a lot of merchandise and it looks pretty decent, it's NOT worth the trip.

I don't like the visual of the front entrance at this location, but its all the same on the inside containing all the tools, tires, tarps, and industrial/commercial items a man needs. The prices are a "little" on the high side but most everything is in stock and you can get it now. They had three cashiers and I got out pretty quickly. I paid $14 for the smallest gas can they had.

Went to buy a utility wagon.
I had an add for $99. It rang up at the register for $149.
Ot expired last week...
I had another current flyer with the price at $109. There was a disclaimer in the front of the flyer in small print that prices were not valid at all locations....
I drove 80 miles just to be disappointed. I left all other items at the register on my way out....

Tried placing this order when I would have received a gift card but never got a call about shipping. Now that the promotion is over I was able to place the order but still waiting on a representative to contact me about shipping.

It was a sad experience there was only 3 employees on the sales floor one of them was a member of management but no one acknowledged any of us customers, I had to go the cashiers for help or some kind of orientation. After 45 minutes of walking around the store I found what I was looking for, thanks to the cashier that acknowledge me after I went back to the front of the store. Only 2 stars due to bad customer service!

Somewhat deceptive. Advertised free shipping on item but have to pay fee for yearly membership to get free shipping. Disappointed. I thought seriously about canceling my order but I needed the item asap.

They didn't have the tools we were looking for and whenever we asked an employee where something was, they gave the wrong locations. Also, none of the five different employees we interacted with were very friendly at all. So, overall rather disappointing. I'd prefer to keep going to Tesco, Lowes, Home Depot, or some other hardware store.

There was an employee there named Pepe who stood behind the cashiers the whole time we were there and never helped us at all. But when we went to check out, we heard him say to the cashier that we were HIS customers so he would take credit for our purchase. Yeah. If THAT’s the quality of their employees, makes you wonder about the company itself.

We thought it might be a one-off, so we went back another time and it was the same thing all over again. The only friendly and helpful employees were the cashiers.
