Went to buy an evaporative cooler and wanted to hear how loud when on high. Without hesitation Gary wheeled the model fan down several aisles and plugged it in so we could hear it. Now that's service !
We bought the fan it works great . Duane at the cash register was very helpful in informing us of all the warranty information. Great store.

I went to this store which his very close to my home. I previously called and was told I just ordered was in stock. I arrived (6/3/23) and the item was not on the floor a salesman looked in the back the item was not there I gave the gentleman my cell number and said when he found it I could come back. I received no return call. I returned to the Garland store Sat June 10, 23 to look for the item it was not there. I had to resort to ordering to insure I received the item I wanted.

Very Unprofessional.
I Have called trying to order an appliances hand truck that I saw online. called at 11AM. spoke to a lady I forgot her name.
she said they have it on site, I was like, great.
do you guys do a delivery? she said yes, it will be additional 20$ and you'll get a delivery today.
I agree to that. then she asked, will you come here and pay? ( if I get there and pay, why do I need a delivery? I assume there is some issues with the mind )
I said, NO, can I pay over the phone? she said, no we can't, I ask, there is any other way to pay? she said, give me few min, I will check and call you back in few.
12.15PM. no call back. I called, they transfer me from one person to another. then I heard her on the background, tell him to come here and pay.
what a rude unprofessional service.
I should have read the bad reviews before I contact them.
there is so many other provider to use, like newhaven .

Bought a milwaukee m18 weedeater a month ago. They were running a special that included a free battery with purchase. They still don't have any to complete my purchase. Corporate could not help either. I will not make any further purchases at Northern Tool. They are not reliable.

Went in to find a tire that fit my lawnmower, and Ken helped me. I can’t bring to tell you how above and beyond he went for me. He called the lawnmower company for me to find the right size. It really was a 10/10 experience for me. They need to promote Ken immediately! I would tell anyone to buy tools from Ken!

Got a chain saw here today 9.11.22 and never had a issue with this place in the past. Until today thanks to Mike H (assistant manager).
I followed the instructions and the chain saw didn't work. So we go to exchange it and had the worst experience ever. First they try to start it them selves, then they failed to start it. Then we spoke to the assistant manager Mike H, and said that it was going to be $40 to fix and the technician wasn't there and were screwed. To go home and come back tomorrow. After told that we can't exchange it we asked why not, if we bought it today. He said its our problem and we have to deal with it since we bought it, and to leave the store. He was being rude and demanding we lesve with no sense of customer service, no solution after asking for a refund he refused. So after a back and forth we said we were going to call the police and then another employee came and apologized to us and mentioned that, that's how he is towards Hispanics at times. After the 3rd employee failed to start the chainsaw he went to get another one and exchanged it. 2 employees that were not assistant managers were way nicer and provided great service. While the person that is suppose to be the leader and uphold a higher standard behaved unprofessional, rude, showed racial discrimination and gave this company a bad name. We buy tools from here often and this situation makes me double think ever going back and spreading the word.
