I bought a Northern Tool MIG 135 welder . It worked good for about 3/4 of a full size spool of wire then the wire feed motor stopped working. I have had it over 1 year so no warranty. I called the Garland store and they cant fix it and don't even know where to take it for repair!
It's despicable to sell expensive equipment like a $350.00 welder a and not have any clue how to get repairs. They were totally clueless. 😒
It's an ok store for buying tools and supplies and in store service is ok.
I can not recommend buying expensive equipment that might
need service or repair from Northern Tool and Equipment!
Update - I managed to find the contact information for the welder support on my own and they helped me resolve the problem. I bumped it up to 3 stars.

Today I must say Andrew redeemed northern tool + equipment, I live in Lindale TX I called yesterday and Got prices on your leaf springs for my trailer northern's price was a lot cheaper than tractor supply! I couldn't believe it so I drive up not expecting the service that rendered here today. Andrew offered to come out and measure my l,springs And even went back out and measured my u bolts awesome service by Andrew thanks (guy) & to top it off Andrew passed the ball off to the cashier and she slammed dunked it with friendly service thank you and come again.

Worst customer service experience - if I could give a negative rating I would. Not only could we not get anyone to help and answer questions once we did decide on something one of the workers took off a piece and was unable to put it back together. They wanted to charge us to fix it when we hadn't even bought it. Have never bought anything from them and never will.

NEVER AGAIN...Parts and Service Center. 4 weeks to quote an estimate is too long. 1st Call: You need a new engine - $600. 2nd Call: Its NOT the engine but the pump - $600. Left hand does NOT know what the Right is doing. When I picked up eqipment the engine was not re-mounted to the base. Their lack of competence calls for my vote of "No Confidence". I recommend taking your business where you and your equipment are appreciated. Your Welcome if this helps.
