I had no choice to use this business. My home warranty chose this horrible company to fix our ac. However these people are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY RUDE AND WILL NOT HELP IN ANY WAY. The maintenance repair guy that was sent to my house had the audacity to tell me in front of my husband to be quiet I didn’t know what I was talking about! Then joked and laughed and said I’m just the messenger due to he was trying to get $500 out of us saying OUR HOME WARRANTY WOULDN’T PAY FOR WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. PRIOR TO THE COMPANY COMING OUT WE KNEW WHAT WAS’NT COVERED AND WHAT THEY WOULD COVER. This company has been a complete headache! And the sr control guy (supervisor)name angel was anything but his name he was the complete opposite! I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANYONES SERVICE REPAIR! And to make it worse they are holding on to our repair slip as long as they can to be spiteful and not return it to our warranty company so we r suffering in this Texas Heat!!!! I hope and pray no one goes through the issues I have with this Unpleasant, Unprofessional, spiteful Company!

I was given the run around for 6 months between these guys and American Home Shield. Took my money and never fixed a thing. Still not fixed despite dozens of calls and emails. Reps at home shield lied repeatedly and admitted to it. This company is in lock step with American Home Shield with stealing from consumers. Do not use them or American Home Shield. As you can see in other comments this exact thing happens over and over again to lots of people. Terrible company, terrible service, built to scam customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! American Home Shield assigned them to fix my leaking AC. They showed up the first time in a reasonable time frame. However, even though I have this exact same problem almost every year and I know what needs to be done to resolve it I'm "not a technician" so they know better than I do what needs to be fixed. or so they say. All they did was move the leak from one location to another because they ignored me when I told them what the issue was.
Then, when I finally manage to get a hold of my warranty company to send them back out, they outright lied to me over the phone about my appointment. I changed all my plans (I work three jobs and have a life so this is no easy feat) to accommodate them on the evening my appointment was scheduled for. They try to come hours earlier, when I am at work (I couldn't switch this shift) and it suddenly becomes my fault that my appointment can't be kept because the rest of the week I cannot rearrange to accommodate them. They hung up on me multiple times, and blame me for being furious over their poor excuse for customer service.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I've had technicians come to my home twice in the last month and my air conditioner is still not working. The first time they came, I was told a part needed to be replaced. A few days later I received a call from someone trying to sell me a whole new unit. I decided to just have to part replaced for now. A week or two later the air conditioner stopped working again and a technician came and said the freon was low but didn't notice any leaks. Now the ac is not working again. This morning I called and spoke to some rude man to schedule a time for a technician to come out AGAIN. He cut me off everytime I tried to explain the situation and refused to make this a priority despite the issue not being resolved the last two times they came out. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The quality of service is terrible and the man answering the phones is incredibly rude. Unfortunately I am forced to use this company because it was assigned by my home warranty.
My heating unit went out in my home. My home warranty company contracted these guys. The technician from this company literally looked at me and said, "I don't know what's wrong with your unit. I don't know what to do." He later said he thought maybe it was a gas line to my unit. I called my plumber next who said the gas lines were fine, it was a part on the heating unit that A-US Air should have been able to easily identify as competent HVAC folks. I had to call a different HVAC company then to come for the repair, causing an additional day without heat in my home, in 30 degree weather and additional service fees. I called A-US Air to give them feedback on what happened. The telephone representative laughed when I explained them not knowing what to do caused my family and I to be without heat for another day. I informed him then that to laugh at something like that was not funny. Please don't waste your hard-earned money on a company like this. There are plenty of other options.
Long story short, we got stuck with this company because of our home warranty. They did not fix the issue the first time they came out (didn't even come close). We called to reschedule and the tech moved the appointment date 3 times. Then on the day he was supposed to come, he showed up 3 hours before the appointment time, when no one was home. Calling the company is no help. I was routinely on hold for 30-45 minutes each time I called and they would just tell me that the techs make their own schedules. He would then call to reschedule and not show up when he said he would. It's been 12 days, who knows how many phone calls, reschedules and missed appointments and my AC is still not fixed.
These people have been horrendous. If I could give negative stars, I would. DO NOT GIVE this company money unless you like wasting it. The install guys were a joke. They ripped out our old unit and literally tossed it into our driveway, leaving sharp and broken pieces of the unit that they did not pick up. Once the new unit was in, they had to call the tech back to our house because the install guys did not know how to get it started. Once started, it worked well until the first time we needed the heat. Guess what? It didn't work. My husband was able to look at it and discovered that there was a valve that they neglected to open. Once opened, it worked. We recently had a day where we had to run the ac in the morning but by that night it was 22 degrees, requiring the heat. That night, we discovered condensation POURING out of the door to the closet where the unit is installed, soaking our original 1940s wood flooring!! We called another company on the recommendation of friends. He discovered that some of the pipes may have to be replaced because A-US used a combination of metal and PVC piping AND that there was never any drain pipe installed. The lack of a drain pipe allowed the condensation problem. WE WILL BE REPORTING YOU TO THE BBB, A-US!
The repair professional, Chris Rodriguez, was outstanding in friendliness, professionalism, and ability to resolve my furnace issue quickly. I highly recommend this company!
I’ve used them for several issues, even had a new unit installed. But I never got the promised inspection after the unit was installed, they never responded to my recent calls for a tech to come back out and fix the panels that fell off (screws are missing!), stating that I needed a NEW WORK ORDER for them to replace the screws (which I also placed a new work order). Thanks for nothing, after the years of faithful service I have given y’all. I will definitely be giving my money to a company that wants my business!
