I've used American Air for a few years. They differentiate themselves from so many other HVAC companies by continually evolving and embracing new and improved technology and processes. This has made me feel like I'm always getting the best service by techs with some of the most up to date skill sets.

They show up on time, they give accurate estimates, and work efficiently.

Been using American Air Hvac for 6 years now. Service techs are very sharp and really know what they are doing. The office staff is very outgoing and easy to talk with. I wish every business was as easy to deal with as American Air HVAC, highly recommend. Again, awesome and friendly staff that is really good and detailed.

Bought a new-to-me house and needed an HVAC company. Several people had recommended them online so I took a chance. Tech’s came out to service my 2 units and one of them had major issues and needed costly repair or replacement. They walked me through the repair options and called in someone to give me several “new purchase” options. They walked me through every possible scenario. It was a no brainer to go with a new Trane heat pump system. Install day came and weather was absolutely horrible (raining and cold). The installers showed up on time and didn’t complain about weather or conditions. They were super curtious and took the quality of their work seriously. Even though the unit is in an attic and setting outside, the new install looked cleaner and better. The next day the tech came back out and saw something he didn’t like while checking gas levels due to low temps during install. Received a phone call the next day that someone was coming back to ensure it met their standards.

From office staff to sales to technicians to installers, EVERYONE was super nice, super accommodating, and super professional. It’s hard to single anyone out but Jonathan and Lamar were AWESOME as they were the original people I dealt with and ultimately made me choose the new system!

You can rest assured they know their stuff and “THEY ACTUALLY SHOW UP” whenever you call or they say they’ll be there.

If you are thinking or are on the fence, give them call. What have you got to lose? If they aren’t the cheaper option, make sure to pay attention to all of the details when comparing. They didn’t cut any corners with my install and their new install quality was great!

Had initial issues getting them out to the house because of rain, but once they came out they did an incredible job installing our new system, and they did a great job replacing our ducts that were extremely inefficient. 5/5 stars. Would definitely go with them again in any future homes.

James, Shane and Jonathan worked on my own HVAC system which was having several different problems this week, as well as, that of my friend's unit. All three servicemen are commended for their compassionate and patience in answering our questions concerning the problems. They are very professional in their work ethic as letting us know exactly what to expect in timing, necessary parts and pricing. Personally, I am so appreciative that they did not belittle anyone's previous work although some of the current problems were directly related to previous mistakes. Not only can I, along with my friend, highly recommend these three men but I also want to commend Chelsea, who does scheduling. She is very polite while accommodating and she follows up quickly. These four persons that I represent this company honorably.

My AC stopped cooling in the late afternoon. I gave them a call thinking it was close enough to closing time I would have to schedule something for another day. Within minutes I had Bret at the house. He diagnosed the problem and knew what part was needed within just a few minutes. He gave me an accurate price for the part and a quote as soon as he was back at the office. About 16 hours later the unit's running like new. I couldn't be happier with the service or price. I will definitely be using them from now on.

Bret and BJ went above and beyond to fix our a/c before a hot weekend! This is a great family owned and operated business that has great service, communication, very personable employees from Chelsea in the office to their techs and salesmen, affordable prices and they were ON TIME EVERYTIME! We will definitely work with American again!

The team of technicians at American Air HVAC did an outstanding job on a tough, challenging project - installation of a new Trane AC unit outside, and installing a new blower motor and repositioning ducts in a very cramped attic space. The communication has been excellent, and the follow-up is diligent. I know I can count on American Air HVAC for service and support over the coming years with my AC.

My family and I have been very pleased with this company. Our old unit went out in August when it was 100+ degrees everyday. I called them on a Friday morning and they came out that same day, and got it working even though it was 15 years old and not a unit they installed. When they installed our new unit (only a few days later) they could not have been more professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would not recommend any other company in Chattanooga or the surrounding area to do any heat/air work! Finally I just have to say that the new unit is saving us $150.00 a month on our electric bill. You cannot go wrong using American Air HVAC!

We were highly satisfied with the service we received. Chuck, the technician, was friendly, patient and very informative. Dee was also extremely helpful when we called about our Trane warranty information.
