Roscoe Brown Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing

My heat pump would not defrost and I called Saturday night and left my information. Sunday morning they called scheduled me and by 4 pm problem solved. Nathan, technician, was professional and once he fixed the problem he took time to double check the rest of my unit. Also explained it and made sure I understood.
Thank you and trust me you are on my list of repair companies.

Jack came out for our fall check up yesterday and he was great! He took time checking both of our units, cleaning and making sure they were running properly. We had one minor issue with a new unit that he advised us of. Jack was friendly and took very good care of our home while he was checking out the thermostats and upstairs unit.

Josh G. came out today and installed the ignitor switch that Jack had mentioned to us might be an issue. Josh was great as well! He was friendly and careful of our home and he also helped sign us up to add plumbing as part of our Roscoe Brown maintenance contract. Both Jack and Josh were excellent representatives of Roscoe Brown and should be commended on how well they treat Roscoe Brown's customers!

We are currently working with David Burgess who has been working in good faith with our family to make this right. We have been pleased with this communication and effort. At this time we would recommend Roscoe Brown to friends and family because they came to stand behind their products and services.

I had Roscoe Brown install a brand new HVAC system in our home about a year and a half ago because they had serviced our previous unit in past and seemed professional. Unfortunately we had a different experience this visit.

Prior to our annual heating system preventative maintenance our new unit was working great. During the inspection, technician Jack explained to me that he found a leak on the condenser. He then explained he could recharge the system for me at the everyday low price of $107/lb.

I asked how leaks occur on a new unit that Roscoe Brown installed and what was the remedy and warranty coverage. We have 10 year warranty on the unit until 2031!!

He explained the warranty covers parts only and could I go ahead and pay him today to recharge the unit!

I called the local store and spoke to Joseph LaRochelle who explained they would not be able to cover the cost of refrigerant because they are not reimbursed from manufacturer.

Obviously I’m not going to be taken advantage of by a business that won’t stand behind their products and warranty.

As of Roscoe Brown’s visit I now have a defective unit and a quote for over $1000 to fix something they improperly installed and serviced with a 1 month old newborn prior to winter.

Buyer beware this company installs defective units, their techs are being trained to take advantage of people and the supervisors are not handling the situation to resolve in a timely manner.

We made a mistake and called another company. In our defense, we are new to the area. After a week we called Roscoe Brown. Joseph Henry came out and looked over everything and had parts ordered and installed in less than 48 hours. He even apologized for the other company. We are now buying the service plan and I hope they always send Mr. Henry! Great job! It was very nice seeing this van in front of our house!

I highly recommend Roscoe Brown for both installation and maintenance of home HVAC units. I’ve had excellent service with their tune-up and maintenance of my units and most recently with a replacement due to a freon leak on a 20 year old split unit. They exceeded my expectations though out the entire process (sales thru installation). Dennis was extremely pleasant, informative, and professional on the sales side. He was non pressure and took time explaining the options, features, and prices. On the installation side, Manuel and Hayden performed a tremendous job, I can’t say enough good things about their quality, professionalism, and attention to detail as if they were installing at their own home. They both explained the work they were doing and answered all my questions. Hayden performed an awesome job on the installation of the outside compressor, paying close attention to aesthetics, functionality, and code. Manuel went above and beyond by going in extreme detail regarding all the work he performed installing the air handler in my attic along with the safety features and what to check in between their tune-ups. He also explained how to use the new smart thermostat ensuring I was comfortable with it’s operation. They both also performed a great job on the removal of my old equipment. When the time comes to replace my second unit, I will definitely use Roscoe Brown again along with requesting Manuel and Hayden.

How can I say enough about Ryan Bynum! He was absolutely awesome in repairing our AC system!! He was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure our system was up and functioning before leaving. He went so far as to go from our home to another town to get the part he needed to get it fixed that same night! It meant he was at our home way past normal business hours but he was cheerful and more than willing to make sure we were satisfied with the repairs so that we would be comfortable that night ( it was in the hot part of the year and we really needed the cool air ). I've never had a repair technician that was so thoughtful of the customer! He deserves so much more than this review.....employees like Ryan are what make a company successful and keep the customers coming back and referring their friends! Thank you Ryan!

We had a clogged kitchen sink drain, that would not budge. Our very professional plumber, Mr Dylan Eady, came out and cleared our drain in minutes, that we had worked on for two days. I was incredibly grateful for his professionalism and knowledge as well as the kindness he showed to us. Thankful to have it working again.

I contacted Roscoe Brown earlier today because of a plumbing leak and requested same day service. After submitting the request, I was contacted within less than an hour that Mark would be at my home after lunch.
When Mark & Mabry arrived, although very young men, I was impressed at their professionalism, respectfulness, eagerness to determine the reason for the leak and very knowledgeable. Before entering my home and it was a rainy day, they immediately put on their disposable shoe covers.
It's very impressive to see young men with the great characteristics they both demonstrated. I can see they are an asset to Roscoe Brown!!

Replacement of our HVAC system. They were able to come days before they were expected. Very professional and friendly and did a great job!
