I contracted Russell & Abbott to replace my HVAC System November 2019. After 6 months of experience with the system, I am very satisfied with the installation and performance of their Onyx equipment. The sales representative provided a very thorough evaluation, explanation, and estimate. The installation team did a great job, and the system is performing as advertised. My first 6 month Tune-Up was just accomplished. The office staff provided excellent communication regarding the appointment. I was offered alternate service times due to cancellations, and kept up to date on the technician's arrival time.
Like the installation team, the technician was friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, & professional. I observed some of the work during the service call, and was impressed with the quality of tools & test equipment being used. I inquired about technical training, and was informed the technicians are consistently updated with the latest innovations and procedures. I can highly recommend Russell & Abbott for HVAC service.

1 year update: After operating through all four seasons, I am still very satisfied with the Onyx equipment and Russell & Abbott. Technician Daniel came by recently to perform another 6 month check-up (tune-up). The visit was well coordinated and on time. Daniel is efficient, courteous, and professional. All is well, next tune-up scheduled for May 2021.

The technician who arrived today to complete my biannual HVAC system maintenance was exceptionally professional, friendly, competent and informative. Heather completed the job in a timely manner, and with a smile. She found a part in the heat pump that was obviously worn out and likely to stop working soon and recommended replacing it. She made a point of showing me the brand new one and then comparing it to the old one once she had taken it out so that I would know the bad part was truly burning out and needed replacement, which to me showed initiative and consideration. I would welcome her back in my home to take care of my HVAC system anytime!

Had them install a new HVAC system 2 years ago. We have had an all around great experience, they have excellent customer service and they are very quick to get any problem fixed.

Arrived on time, friendly staff,answered related questions. Performed routine maintenance with to attention to detail. Tested system and returned to service efficiently. Thank You

We spent thousands of dollars on the Onyx system and have technicians do the 6 month service checks. Every time they do a service check we end up having issues that require them to come back in 4-6 weeks. Because it’s all under warranty there doesn’t seem to be any urgency to our system getting fixed weeks after they just gave the all clear.

Technician was on time and very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He clearly explained to me what he was doing as he worked and offered a couple of recommendations for me to consider. He pointed out that he does not work on commission so his recommendations were just that; I appreciated that.

Very good service. Technician was very respectful, personable, knowledgeable and thorough. Explained in detail along with showing photo images of all issues. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Very happy and impressed with this company and would highly recommend them!
