Thomas and his staff are as first class as they come! I highly highly recommend!!!I had a complete system replacement done with the help of Acute Heating and Cooling. I was fortunate enough to have been contracted with Thomas and Acute through my home warranty company as a second opinion. Man, am I glad they selected them to help me. Thomas gave an honest opinion on what the issue was and what he would do to resolve it. He looks to do things the right way and not put band-aids on problems that unfortunately many contractors out there do today. If you want quality work, honest opinions, and superior knowledge in the HVAC industry, give them your business. I promise you that this will be the last HVAC company that you will need in the Charleston and surrounding area!

I had a great experience with Acute when my AC unit went down in the middle of the summer. They were always on time (if not a bit early), extremely professional, and really helped a ton with negotiating with my home warrant company. I DEFINITELY lucked out with having Acute pick up my warranty claim, and would call them again outside of my warranty if another issue arose.

These guys are awesome - if I could give them 10 stars would. Better pricing than I've found anywhere else and extremely professional. Their response time is insane compared to their competition. They always answer their phone, can usually send someone out with 24 hours, and have fast turnaround on larger projects such as AC replacements or larger repairs. I've recommended them to neighbors and friends who all had the same impression when they were done. Do yourself a favor and call these guys if you need your heating/air system serviced or replaced. I will never use a different company again.

I have split zone HVAC system and one of two units was almost 20 years old. It finally bit the dust at the beginning of the Summer. Since it was an older system not only was the coolant obsolete, it would cost more to repair over time than it would be to replace.

Acute first sent out a tech, Thomas Edwards, who was not only nice enough to let me down easy with the bad news, he even waved the consolation fee once he realized there was nothing they could do.

I scheduled a replacement through Heather and set up financing through a partner company. They are currently offering no interests on payments for one year, as well as no penalty for early payoff. So I put down half and will pay off the remaining balance within the year without having any interest on the payments.

The installers, Ricky Cuttino and Omar, were also very professional and had everything swapped out and running within a day. Both gentlemen again explained what they would be doing and took the time to clean up everything from the install.

All around, I can't say enough about the prompt service, from Thomas to Heather to Ricky and Omar. Exemplary on all levels.

Thomas and his crew seem to have captured a simple concept that so many other companies have lost, customer service with a smile. From Octavia scheduling appointments to our service person Les who was obviously well versed in serving with a smile. When he didn't know the answer he was right on the phone with the office clarifying any questions. Response time has been immediate and we are very pleased. This is our second experience with them and we signed up for their maintenance agreement this time. Wish more companies had their customer service attitude. We had another company for years that just tried to sell us add ons with scare tactics, I don't feel this from Acute at all.

We've used Acute HVAC twice. Once for a tune-up, and now for repair (and what will be a new install). Both instances the technician was on time, thorough, and professional. Jay Alexander was our most recent technician. Jay came out, on a Sunday. He was very thorough and professional, taking the time to explain what he had found and his recommendations. Unfortunately, we'll need to replace our unit, however, I could't be happier to have called on Acute Heating and Cooling. It's refreshing to find local businesses that operate very professionally, honestly, and thoroughly. Very much appreciated from our family here.
