I can’t recommend Mark Allen enough. They have saved us on multiple occasions this year for HVAC and plumbing needs. Their weekend (emergency) rate was fair and they were out within the hour. Their staff is always friendly and thorough.

I called Mark Allen Plumbing to replace an old toilet that I had been wanting to take care of for quite some time . An hour after my initial call , Jesse arrived at my home and quickly and efficiently took out the old one and installed a new one . Within about 2 hours of my request , I had a new toilet with zero hassles . Not only was Jesse the ultimate professional but he was a really nice guy , an absolute pleasure to talk to . They came out to fix a sewage backup, and told us we needed to replace the house trap. We were going through our home owners insurance to cover some of the cost and the insurance company had a hard time getting ahold of them. They also could not tell the insurance company why the house trap needed replaced even though I and the insurance company reached out to them several times. Ended up getting a second opinion from another plumber and that plumber found no issue with the house trap. Also cost over $1500 to replace a water heater which I know everything is getting more expensive but that still seems high.

We had a clogged sewer line under our basement floor which was causing a backup in the sinks and toilets. We called Mark Allen Plumbing and talked to a very friendly and calm woman who told us that she would have someone there in an hour. True to her promise Jim the plumber showed up within the hour. He was friendly and professional and soon discovered the problem and cleared the clogged sewer line. He cleaned up thoroughly before he left. I would Mark Allen Plumbing without reservation.

We love Mark Allen use them for all of our plumbing, heating, and AC needs. Always very responsive and quick to get us an appointment. Service is great and prices are fair.

I called Mark Allen because my furnace wasn’t keeping up with the cold as the temperature dropped rapidly right before Christmas weekend. I had an infant in the home and they came out right away. It turned out I needed a new furnace and they were there at 8 AM the next business day to install it. They were always on time, responsive, fair and up front with their prices. This is a class-act organization from top to bottom, their techs were polite and informative, and they always made sure to follow up. I will never work with another outfit again.

Our furnace stopped working on a cold March night. I gathered some information from the thermostat and sent it to John at Mark Allen Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling. He had a crew sent to my house in less than 4 hours, the furnace was serviced, some parts replaced, and a new thermostat installed. It now works as it should. Special thanks to Glenn and Carl for their professionalism while in our home (and their patience with my barking dog) and to John for his thorough explanations.

Showed up over an hour early without calling (not appreciated early in the morning) for a sewage line inspection. Two of their cameras couldn’t fit into the pipe so they proceeded to tell me I needed to give them 12k so they could dig up my entire yard and get their camera in that way, and then likely tell me my sewage line was just fine. They also gouged a hole into a d downspout seam, leaving jagged sharp edges and an unsightly hole, which I had to call them back to fix. As far as the sewage inspection, this is a requirement for my local Boro, however, after some research, I was happy to see it specifically state that if a camera won’t fit, and a plumber suggests digging, not to do it. Would have been nice if this company was educated and didn’t try to screw their customers. 12k to dig a hole. Down the road, a neighbor had 350ft of sewer pipe replaced completely for only 8k. In looking at other online reviews for this company, their overpricing and shady attitude lines up with my experience. They ended up charging me $165 for just showing up and ruining a downspout.

Really appreciate the good service on my HVAC. Erik, Carl & today Josh have all been very patient with this senior. Found that I can trust this company & means so much. Just a little edit: Since last visit my unit was running like a champ & I was Weed whacking around unit & sliced a wire. I panicked! Called Mark Allen & they were able to get someone out within an hour...and during evening hours! Glenn came & put unit right & no one made me feel foolish, well, I knew to feel foolish. Thanks again to the team at Mark Allen - real heros!!!
