First Call Heating & Cooling

This is my experience with First Call H&C:
On July 18 I received an auto delivery of 445.5 gal of oil from First Call; on July 20 I sent a check for $2468.00 to pay for it. I was shocked at the amount and decided to find a more economical way to heat my home.
On July 25 I got an estimate from First Call for heat pump installation that INCLUDED a $2/gal buy-back of the oil in my tank. Their estimate: $18,097.
Another estimate was $13,739, but did not include emptying the tank. First Call was the only resource I could find for emptying the tank; they buy back oil for $1/gal if the request is made within 30 days of delivery for new oil and $.50/gal for old oil. They charge $350 for this service.
On Aug 8 First Call removed 669 gal of oil from the tank. They paid $1/gal for the recently delivered 445 gal of oil and $.50/gal for the 224 gal of remaining oil, minus $350 fee for service. On Aug 29 I got a check for $207.25.
They have $2468.00 formerly in my bank account and 669 gal of oil formerly in my oil tank; I have $207.25.
I agree with an earlier review: Justin is great.

Daniel did a great job for me, got it fixed for me and explained to me what he'd done so now I understand it better.

Wow...A++++++!!! Let me just say I continue to be blown away by the level of service, professionalism and all-around friendliness and great attitude of the First Call team. Chris was a lifesaver! He came to my house promptly, was courteous and went straight to figure out the problem I was having with my thermostat and furnace. He had it figured out in no time! I can't tell you the RELIEF to find out that my whole system wasn't broken but it was something small and he had it up and running in maybe 10 minutes max. I can't thank Chris enough, and the consistently in service we get every time from First Call. Recommend 100%.

I have been using 1st Call for many years to tune up our furnace every year. This year, Nick (technicial) came out to do a tuneup on the furnace, and he was very knowledgable and courteous, explaned everything to me, and even replaced the filter !

I have had a great experience with them over the years. From installing duct work, furnace and a/c to maintenance, it’s all been great and resonable! The last person to do maintenance, Daniel, found an issue and worked to get it fixed quickly, he was great to work with! I would highly recommend them!

I bought a new system from First Call in Sep 2021. The system is not providing AC. I called for a service appointment and was told they no longer service their installations in condos. If I want service I have to find another dealer. Horrible service.

My electric heater (part of heat pump) stopped working last week. I called First Call and scheduled a service call. In the meantime, the heater started working, but I wanted to have the system checked. Chris showed up right on time. He was friendly and expert--explaining to me the workings of the system and checking ti thoroughly inside and out to make sure everything was working correctly. I am really impressed with his knowledge and his advice to me about maintaining my vac system. I learned from him; in short, many thanks! I'm now a dedicated First Call customer.

Justine and Chester came to my new home to replace an old furnace and install a new one. They were super professionals and went above and beyond explaining every single detail about how the new furnace works, what is required for a good maintenance, tips and tricks. Definitely a great work by a good team.

It was a pleasure having Tech Brian Daniell, complete yearly maintenance and filter system clean-up of my hvac unit.

He is friendly, knowledgeable, willing to explain everything to me, even showing me pictures of work performed.

The price of the job was extremely reasonable. I will continue to use First Call for all my services and needed repairs.

My experience with First Call was fantastic. Frank was not only on time he was very knowledgeable and professional. He fixed the problem, explained things to help with future needs and was an all around nice guy. I would 100% recommend him and this company to friends and family.
