We have had a maintenance contract with them for 5 years now. The technician who came out the last 2 years is fine, but the administrative staff are AWFUL. They have not scheduled service in a timely manner, we had to nag them. They sent out 3 invoices for the same thing - one after another - clearly unfamiliar with their contracts with their customers. Then when we advised them to review our contract - terms are payment due withing 30 days -- they just ignored it. They called me advising payment was past due, it was not even close to 30 days after service; and they claim to have not received any communications from us.
The office staff has offended and alienated us as customers. We'll be taking our business elsewhere - this is not worth the hassle.

This is a little late in coming, but better late than never. I had First Call replace my entire heating and air system in July 2019. They did a great job and we've been happy with the system and their following-up for servicing. I had to contact them last week as I noticed that the heat pump stopped working late in the afternoon last Tuesday. Yes, the day that it was 99 in McMinnville. I spoke with Clint early Wednesday morning, he listened to me and then had a repairman (Harvey) out to my house just before 9am. It took Harvey about 45 minutes to locate the problem and fix it. Turned out to be some lose wiring and a blown fuse. Their dedication to their clients and their professionalism in standing behind their product is unmatched. Thank you First Call for a great experience!

I had a fantastic experience with First Call on the installation of a high efficiency furnace in my rental house. Matt Cobb from the sales team did a great job scoping the project and keeping me informed throughout the process. Joe and his team of installers did a terrific job with the removal of the oil furnace and also on the install of the new unit.

I would highly recommend this team and couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Thanks First Call for a job well done.

    Sincerely

My AC started blowing fuses at least once every couple days. Had a service technician come out from First Call. All he did was, hook up his clamp meter to two main power wires on the AC. Then the response was: "This AC is too old. It's over amping. It's still using R22 and we can't even service those type of units. Nothing I can do. You need a new AC." The whole "troubleshooting" took at most 5 minutes. Now, I don't know about others, but generally, when you call someone to come and repair something, they should usually at least try to see what they can repair in order to make the issue at least a little better! Especially for $169. Nope, not this guy.

I had few friends in Arizona that repaired ACs tell me to be always skeptical of AC repairmen. They will always try to sell you stuff you don't need even if the repair is simple, especially when it is summer and 100+ outside and your wife and kids are screaming inside: "It's too hot!!! FIX IT NOW!!!" So after he left, I lookup for possible causes of over amping. And one of the top search results is "possibly a bad capacitor". Measured the capacitor (which was right next to the 2 main power wires he measured)... and it was bad. Bought a new one on amazon for $22 (prime next day shipping FTW). Replaced it. Hooked up my clamp meter, and look at that, no more over amping. No blown fuses for past 3+ weeks. AC cools the house just fine throughout the heat wave we have been having for past 2+ weeks. Kids and wife are happy.

The sales guy that came out 3 days later actually gave me one of the more reasonable quotes compared to others, and was really nice. But, unfortunately, I lost confidence in this company. So I am still getting a brand new AC unit next month from another company, because I agree, this unit is old and who knows when the compressor might go out, but at least I will stay cool this august while waiting for a new unit. Point of the story is, if you have an old AC that broke, call someone else who will actually do all the needed troubleshooting steps, before trying to sell you a new unit.
